 2 - 3 Years Milestone
♥ The child’s vocabulary is growing.
♥ Uses 5 to 8 words
♥ Clearly makes these sounds in words p, b, m, h,
n, w, t, d.
♥ Can say words with 2 or more syllables
♥ Able to use descriptive words
♥ Ask questions frequently: what, who, and where.
♥ Speak with your child often using complete
sentences
♥ Repeat what your child says using the correct
words and sounds
♥ Use words that describe color, shape, size or
number.
♥ Help your child to tell stories
3 – 4 Years Milestone
♥ Uses of adult-type grammar.
♥ Ask and answers questions about “who”,
“what”, “where”, “why”, “when”, and “how”.
♥ Can clearly say these sounds in words k, y, f, g,
s, and z.
♥ Able to create a simple rhymes.
♥ Tell stories with a clear beginning, middle and
end.
♥ Speak with your child often using complex
sentences.
♥ Keep the conversation going by using the
comments than questions.
♥ Emphasize the past tense.
♥ Read together often
♥ Read with a lot of expressions
♥ Let your child play with other children often.
