•In the era of digitalization and automation , chitale stood up with the era by inrtoducing
automated machineriers , artifical intelligence ,digitalization in its environment .
• firstly , the machines were just used to wash and dry the crates used for transportation of
the products from factory to outlets
•almost 80% of the products like ladoos , pedhas ,namkeens , burfis ,bhakarwadis etc are
made using automated machines .
•Apart from that they use digitalization , for procurement to purchase , the entire supply
chain is monitered with data analytics and artificial intelligence to deliver freshest products
in shortest time .
•Due to the proper utilisation of technology they are able to deliver their products not only
across the state , but across the world !

Management Practices

Chitale’s management practices play a very significant role in the success of their business.
Management is not only important for profit maximization but it also contributes in coordinated
and systematic working of the organization. ​
During the interview, the owner also shared that Chitale’s pay a lot of attention towards the
employees. He told that the organization only believes in hiring employees who have the ability to
achieve goals, works with integrity and have the patience to sustain in a family business. ​
“It is for sure a very tough task to run and manage a family business like Chitale”.​

On this statement Mr Chitale said that just like any family in business also communication
is the solution to major problems. When different people come together difference in
opinion is very natural. Communicating them and finding the best solution is the
responsibility of the CEO.​
He believes that being a family run organization has inherited them with a strong value
system and goodwill that always plays as a bonus point for them. It also has helped them
understand their customer behaviour and the changes they have to work on with time,
be it variety of products or price, it is always important to understand consumer needs
and expectations and work accordingly
