Charles Robert Darwin

Charles Robert Darwin, FRS FRGS FLS FZS was an English


naturalist, geologist and biologist, best known for his
contributions to the science of evolution. His proposition that
all species of life have descended over time from common
ancestors is now widely accepted, and considered a
foundational concept in science.
Nicoalus Copernicus

Nicolaus Copernicus was a Renaissance-era mathematician and


astronomer, who formulated a model of the universe that
placed the Sun rather than the Earth at the center of the
universe, in all likelihood independently of Aristarchus of
Samos, who had formulated such a model some eighteen
centuries earlier
The Middle East

The Middle East is a transcontinental region centered on


Western Asia, Turkey, and Egypt. Saudi Arabia is geographically
the largest Middle Eastern nation while Bahrain is the smallest.
The corresponding adjective is Middle Eastern and the derived
noun is Middle Easterner.

Sigmund Freud

Sigmund Freud was an Austrian neurologist and the founder of


psychoanalysis, a clinical method for treating psychopathology
through dialogue between a patient and a psychoanalyst. Freud
was born to Galician Jewish parents in the Moravian town of
Freiberg, in the Austrian Empire.

Mesoamerica

Mesoamerica is a historical region and cultural area in North


America. It extends from approximately central Mexico through
Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, and
northern Costa Rica, and within this region pre-Columbian
societies flourished before the Spanish colonization of the
Americas
