 INTRODUCTION
• Comparing your own business to a rival is essential when
competing. Without it, you would never know how successful
your performance is in a market or whether you perform one or
another task better than your competitor does.
• For example, 85% customer satisfaction might look great for you
or even compared to your industry’s average, but what if some
other companies (not necessarily rivals) easily achieve 97% rate?
In this situation, your 85% satisfaction rate doesn’t look that
brilliant. To better understand your situation and improve
company’s performance, the managers use benchmarking.

• OnePlus is a Shenzhen-based start-up and

producer of smartphones founded in
December, 2013. The company's claim to
fame is its bid to offer flagship-level specs in
its smartphones, at affordable prices. OnePlus
initially sold its smartphones only through an
invite system where customers would be sent
an invite to purchase smartphones and they
had to make the purchase within a fixed time
frame.
• OnePlus  its  OnePlus 7T smartphone here we have the benchmarks of
the smartphone. The OnePlus 7T is powered by an Octa-Core 
Snapdragon 855 7nm Mobile Platform with that has a tri-cluster
architecture with 1 x Kryo 485 Prime CPU (A76-based) at up to
2.96GHz, 3 x Kryo 485 Performance CPUs (A76-based) at up to
2.42GHz and 4x Kryo 485 Efficiency CPUs (A55-based) at up to
1.80GHz and has Adreno 640 GPU offering 15% increase compared to
Snapdragon 855,  8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB UFS 3.0 storage.
• It has a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED 90Hz display and runs on

1.The phone is cheap, but without compromising quality. It’s relatively low priced
with a high specification ratio.
2.It’s invite-only. This has been the driving force in creating the craze behind the
phone, as the manufacturers are appealing to basic human nature: we always want
what we can’t have. The buy by invitation only system allows the manufacturer to
gradually fulfill the demand while customers are kept in a constant state of
anticipation. This also adds to the phone’s appeal as a “VIP product” for only a
“select” group of people.
3.It’s something of a niche product. In opposition to all of their existing competitors,
the OnePlus One has the reputation of being the phone for tech geeks.
