Final Project

 Dandelion

This photo is of the Black and white genre. I

was trying to capture the dandelion in black
and white while making the dandelion pop
out against the background. I thought that if
I had the flower facing either the left or right
it would look a little more interesting than if it
was face on with the camera. I also tied to
only get one flower so that it popped out
even more. You could probably make the
background darker to make it better.
 Light and Dark

This photo is of the black and white genre. I was

trying to capture two sides of a photo in light and
dark respectively. I tried to find a place were
there was a lot of light on one side then a lot of
shadows or darkness on the other. Then I stood
in the middle and took a shot. It's not perfectly
split but I kinda like that but if you prefer it split
right down the middle that would be an
improvement.
 Tree Dial

This photo is of the black and white genre. I was

trying to capture the trees and the trees shadow. I
tried to capture each tree and there shadow in one
photo and this was the best one. I believe i got a
nice photo I just wish I got a better shadow
placement.
 Goal Post

This photo is of the black and white genre. I

thought this would look cool in black and white
because it was standing alone. So that's what I
was kinda aming for was to make it seem alone.I
tried to shoot it at a lower angle so that it didn't
look plain and I also shot it at angle so it wasn't flat
up on the photo. I think I got it looking like its
standing alone but I also got someone's hand in
the shot so its not perfect.
 Part of a Pattern

This photo is of the black and white genre. I was

trying to get a pattern with people in it but one of
them was starting to change from the norm. I tried to
line them up in the middle of the windows while one
was moving a bit showing a change in the norm. So
that's what I did at least tried to do with the windows.
I think I got the pattern thing pretty good but could
probably have found a better place to do it.
 Berry plant

This photo is of the black and white genre. I was

trying to capture the group of berries and leaves
sort of alone, like away from the full plant. I shot
away from the full plant to show it alone. I
probably should of had the full plant to show it
kind of leaving the rest of the plant. I think I made
the plant pop out pretty well against the
background.
 Flower Trees

This photo is of the black and white genre. I

was trying to get an ant's eye view of a bunch
of flowers to simulate that they were trees. I
did this by getting as low below them as
possible. I think this photo is quite well shot
but I wish that there were more flowers.
 Falling Leaves

This photo is of the black and white genre. I really

tried to get as many leaves in the shot as possible
but I gave up and this is the best one I got. I only put
it here to show my hard work. There's a lot wrong
with this photo but at least My idea was good.
 Flowerbed

This photo is of the black and white genre. I tried to

get the alive/bloomed flowers to stand out from the
dead/not bloomed flowers. I tried doing this with a
birds eye view while the flowers were not facing the
camera. I wish the flowers stood out more probably
could have edited it better.
 Tree Tops

This photo is of the black and white genre. I tried

to make this tree seem alone while also showing
the clouds and sky, so I stood relatively close
and took an ants eye view photo. I really like the
sky in this photo I just wish the building wasn't
there.
 Bird Statue

This photo is of the black and white genre. I tried to

take this colorful statue and turn it black and white.
I believe I succeeded in that department. All i did
was take picture of it looking away from the
camera. This photo is pretty boring so thats what I
would change.
 Flags

This photo is of the black and white genre. I tried

to capture both flags at full length a few times and
this is the best one I got. I just stood in front of the
school taking pictures until i got this one. I could
have caught them at a better time but i'm lazy.
 Tree and Building

This photo is of the black and white genre. I just

tried to capture the tree and the building together
in one shot. I tried to elevate myself to make it
more flat on but probably should have added more
building in the photo. I like the tree in this photo.
 Black Lily

This photo is of the black and white genre. I tried to

find a pretty flower that was also darker in colour. I
ended up with this purple flower. I was just trying to
make a plant a dark colour while the background is
lighter. I wish the background was lighter but i like
the shot.
 Dark Tree

This photo is of the black and white genre. I tried to

do the same thing i did with the (Black Lily) photo but
with a tree this time. I tried to get on a higher
platform to look at it flat on. I also did a tiny bit of a
dutch angle. The tree is a bit too dark but i like the
tiny dutch angle.
 White Cotton

This photo is of the black and white genre. I tried to

make an interesting plant look nice in black and
white. So i kinda looked at from angel towards the
rest of the plant and it looks ok. I could have put
more of the flowers in the photo but i like the angle I
shot it from.
 Field and Trees

This photo is of the black and white genre. I tried

to capture a nice side of trees and some of the
field without much of the man made structures. I
did this by lining myself up against the fence and
taking a picture of it kinda half and half. I wish
there was some detail in the sky but I like how it
is kinda split down the middle.
 Spider Web
This photo is of the black and white genre. I
tried to get a shot of the spider web like it was a
really dark hole with the webbing coming out
and being really bright compared to the hole. I
did this by just taking a picture of it head on an
not really doing anything else. I wish I got
closer to the hole to make it bigger but I think it
ended up ok.
 Sad Flower

This photo is of the black and white genre. I

tried to capture this dropping flower as if it was
sad so it would look like the emotion of
sadness in black and white. Basicly just took
the picture straight on but probably should
have done rule of thirds. I like the way it turned
out especially the flower.
 Car Lineup

This photo is of the black and white genre. I tried

to capture a line of cars that were colorful so they
would look different from one another when
turned black and white. I did this by finding a lime
of cars and kinda just took a picture along them. I
wish the colours were more diverse and I went
closer to the first car. I do like the line of cars
though.
