 It is the process of using influence and

control to control the management and
activities of any organization.
 Importance of governance:

A good governance is necessary

 To achieve goals
 To regulate the whole system
 To take legal stand against any matters
 Governance Issues
 Political instability
 Not political restraint
 Fake elections
 The inefficiency of political institutions
 There is no rule of law
 POLITICAL INSTABILITY

 The conflict between different institutions of

the state result into the political insatiability.
 It is due to the conflict of interest between
different bodies in the state.
 Political instability in Pakistan

 Pakistan has a past of great political crises since

its independence.
• Difficulty In drafting a constitution.
• Language difference between West and East Pakistan due to
different geography.
• Muslim religious leaders effects on the different sections of
the constitution.
• Conflicts between secularism and religion school of
thoughts.
 Not political restraint

 Intolerance means not to accept or allow any beliefs

of different group or religion.
 In Pakistan the political intolerance increased too
much that formerly a secret criticism now become
abusing.
 The competitive environment of the media groups
that needs breaking story is the main reason
behind it.
 Not political restraint

 The addition of social media in our lives is another factor

which increases intolerance.
 People just want to express their feelings but don’t have
courage to hear anything from other religion or political
party.
 Educational institutions, parents and religious scholars are
the responsible to all of this.
 Government should ban every religious preaches so that
this situation of hatred may decrease.
 Fake Elections
 The democracy in Pakistan is such that after
every elections, rumors of fraud erupts by
defeated party.
 In past rigging was some how easy that any

strong force can squeeze the opponent

voters.
 But now in the presence of Electronic media

it is not so simple.
 Fake Elections
Modern methods of rigging:
 Today most elections are rigged before
election day by giving “friendly” officials to the
favorite candidate.
 Casting votes on the behalf of dead voters.
 By expelling staff after polling time and
changing the data.
The Inefficiency Of Political Institutions:
 Due to lack of the interest of the concern
authorities, sectarianism penetrates in the
society.
 Extrajudicial killings increased in the name of

faith.
 Accused organizations are strengthen by lack

of effective response.
 No one can control the situation by finding

long term solution of the problem.

 Curfews and police are not the solution.
The Inefficiency Of Political Institutions

 Foundations of Pakistani society are in

danger.
 Media should play effective role by educating
the masses.
 Government need to do something practically
to reduce the sectarianism.
 There is no rule of law
 The effective rule of law leads the country to
peace and prosperity.
 Rule of law based on four principles
 Accountability
 fair law
 open government
 impartial dispute resolution.
 In Pakistan every government promises to
ensure the rule of law but it actually doesn’t
happened.
 There is no rule of law
Reasons for the pathetic situation of rule of law in
Pakistan:
 Corruption is the biggest problem of Pakistan, some
departments are fighting against it but its increasing
day by day.
 The interference of the different departments into
others decrease of the productivity of employs.
 The crime rate is increasing because courts delays in
the decision making so people want to resolve their
issues outside.
 The abuse use of power is another reason for the low
status of law.
