    Road network is categorized in two categoires


    1. State highway/ District road : This category consists of state highway- 9 (Amarkantak to Anuppur) and
    SH- 22 (Amarkantak to Jabalpur via Dindori), Amarkantak has a good road network which passes
    through Bihar, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. State Highway connects Amarkantak to Nagpur via Raipur
    2. City Road: City has a total of 45 km of length which comes under PWD and Nagar Panchayat
