Introduction to electrical circuit

NODAL ANALYSIS

Electrical Source :
Electrical Source is a kind of source where the different types of power are supply in the
Total circuit.

Two Types:
i) Independent ii)Dependent
Independent Source

Voltage Source Current Source

Voltage Source : Voltage Source is a two terminal device which can maintain a fixed voltage

Current Source :A current source is an electronic circuit that delivers or absorbs an electric current which is
independent of the voltage across it

Direct Current(DC) Alternative Current(AC)

DC is the one directional flow of electric charge

& AC is simply a source whose positive and negative terminal change polarity periodically .

APPLICATION OF NODAL ANALYSIS IN REAL
LIFE

• Nodal analysis mainly used in gas production plan .

• nodal analysis plays an essential part with integrated production models,
recommends a cost effective means for optimize performance.

NODAL ANALYSIS CONCLUSION:

 Simple Circuits ( no floating or dependent voltage sources)

 Nodal analysis provides a general procedure for analyzing circuits using node voltages as
the circuit variables.
In nodal analysis ,node voltages are defined with respect to some common reference point
in the circuit.
Nodal analysis is simply writing KCL equations in a systematic way assuming all currents
leaving.
