Example
In essence, Cathy Freeman has influenced
many people, especially young, Indigenous
athletes. People are inspired by Cathy
because she came from humble roots to
become the face of the nation. Cathy is
courageous, determined and humble. She
teaches us that you should always be true
to yourself, even when you are different.
What’s more, she teaches us that we should
be proud of our culture, no matter what.
Cathy Freeman has influenced me
personally, as my identity is also across two
cultures. Overall, Cathy is an inspiration to
all.
