Pancasila as an Ideology

• Pancasila, which means five or five basic principle


is the name of the foundation of our state.
Five Principles of occurrence took place on June
1, 1945 in the Assembly session BPUPKI.In
BPUPKI, Sukarno, Indonesia proposed that the
basis of an independent state named Pancasila.
therefore, dated June 1, 1945 is the day of the
birth of Pancasila term
.
• Pancasila state basis, adopted by PPKI on
August 18, 1945 simultaneously with the
adoption of the 1945 Constitution and
Pancasila 1945.But Body Constitution itself
was not contained in the Preamble of the
1945 Constitution nor the 1945 Body Bar
1.Pancasila as the Indonesian Way of Life
Pancasila in this sense is often also called a way of
life, world outlook, outlook on life, handle this hidup.
Pancasila used as a guide everyday life.
Pancasila is used as a direction of all activities or
activities of life and life in all areas.
Pancasila as the base of Indonesian republic


Pancasila in this sense is often called the basic
philosophy of the state of the country, state

In this case Pancasila used as a basis to
regulate government negara.With other words,

B.pancasila as an open ideology
   
• * Value of Pancasila
The basic values of Pancasila as an ideology is
open is the value of a perpetual basis and
should not be changed.The Value was in the
opening of the 1945 Constitution, Alenia I, II,
III, IV.
* Instrumental Value

• Instrumental value is the value derived from


the basic values.
Basic values can not be translated directly into
life, if not yet become instrumental value.
Basis of instrumental value can not be
changed anymore, therefore the
implementation of the basic values of
Pancasila in everyday life should be translated
into instrumental value
•       According to the Alfian, Pancasila ideology
qualify as open and dynamic, because the
values contained in Pancasila contains three
dimensions.
among others, namely:
   

a.Dimensi Reality
 That values ideology is derived from real values of life in Indonesian society.

b. Dimensions ideals
That an ideology that needs to contain the ideals that you want to achieve in
various areas of life.
Ideology is not merely describe the nature of man and his life, but also provide an
ideal picture of society and to provide more direction you want addressed by the
guidelines of the community.

c. Dimensions of Flexibility
 That ideology has a flexibility that allows for the development of new ideas that are
relevant about himself without eliminating or deny the identity contained in the
basic values.
 
C. Pancasila as a Source

• National ideology of Pancasila as the logical


consequence that the values of Pancasila be a
principal or a fundamental basis for the
conductor of the state. Pancasila can therefore
be regarded as a source of values. Pancasila is
the basic value in the divine values, the values
of humanity, the unity, democratic values, and
the value of justice
1. DIVINE VALUES

• Divinity value implies the recognition and


confidence in Indonesian nation against the
existence of god as the creator of the
universe. It states the value of Indonesia is a
nation not a nation that ethical relegius.
2.HUMAN VALUES

Implies awareness of humanitarian values
attitudes and behaviors consistent with moral
values in life together on the basis of the
demands of conscience by treating the case as
it should, and there is recognition of human
rights

4.CITIZENSHIP VALUES

• Implies a value of populist democracy, the


people, and for the people by way of
consensus through the institutions of
representation. This value mennganut
understand democracy.
5. OF JUSTICE

The meanings of justice as well as policy
objectives, namely public achieve just and
prosperous Indonesia is a material or spiritual.
justice is the most fundamental values that
are expected by the whole nation.
• Fifth Pancasila values are presented in a variety of
regulations, rulings, decisions, government policies,
development programs and regulations. translation
of these values is called the instrumental.
instrumental value can not be contrary to the basic
values. this is due to the basic values of Pancasila is
an integral and interconnected and embraces each
other. in addition, all the policies of the just-please
Pancasila should be a reference to the maintenance,
state.
e. positive attitude towards the values of
Pancasila

• the noble values of Pancasila should be


embodied in everyday behavior. to realize
these values we are required to be positive.
positive attitude must be applied in the life of
society, nation, and state.
Attitude positive for divine values, eg

a. run according to religious worship and


belief in diligence;
b. running away from religious orders and
prohibitions of Religion;
c. respects others religions;
d.bekerja same and pillars of all religious
communities;
e. not being religious zealots and not impose 
3. positive attitude towards the value of
unity, eg
a. willing to sacrifice for the sake of the nation
b. love the country (nationalism)
c. creating unity
d. participate in the implementation of
development
e. maintain and develop the independence
4. positive attitude towards populist values,
eg
a. participate in elections
b. implement the right to vote and be elected
c. respect others' opinions
d. decide things democratically
e. not obtrude
5. positive attitude towards the value of justice, for example

a. implement a simple life


b. attitude to life-saving habit
c. welfare and justice for the people
d. apply justice in a common life
e. appreciate the work of others
F. Constitutional behavior in national and state Living

Constitutional behavior is behavior that is always


grounded and only rests on the implementation of
state regulations as stipulated in the Constitution
1945.behavior constitutionally be implemented
by the organizers negara.implementation state
should have the passion and attention to earnestly
implementing regulations, and shows the behavior
in living constitutional state and nation.
• Constitutional behavior must also be owned
and implemented by all citizens. That, in force
since the legislation binding on citizens.
Therefore, a responsible citizen should behave
in the life of the constitutional state and
nation. Constitutional behavior can create an
orderly state, discipline, and in accordance
with the law.
Give examples of unconstitutional behavior in
the life of nation and state.

• 1. The implementation of elections in a


transparent, honest, fair and free, and in
accordance with existing regulations.
2. Decision-making by consensus or voting, not with
money politic bribery, collusion and intimidation.
 3. Implementation of demonstration or
peaceful actions not by violence, infiltration,
or revolution.
