1. WAS THE GENERAL MANAGER RIGHT IN ACCEPTING MR.
HANUMAN’S RESIGNATION?
The general manager should have tried to communicate with the chief executive Mr.
Vasudeva and inform him about the situation. He should have tried to convince Mr.
Hanuman as he was the experienced worker with good working span in the
company .

2. Was it well advised to keep Mr. Keshav in the dark about the
ongoing project, especially because he was the work manager?
Mr. Keshav should have been given information about the ongoing
and such a important project. As he is the work manager of the
company , and he holds a good position so he must be aware of
projects going on in the company.
DID MR. KESHAV ACT HASTILY IN REPRIMANDING MR. HANUMAN?

Mr. Keshav’s act was inappropriate specially with an employee who is such
a dedicated and trustworthy, but he’s not totally wrong because sometimes
seniors take strict actions sometimes. But here he overreacted immediately
in this situation . As he was kept in the dark about this project he should
have communicated with the superiors, and then take a particular decision .

4. What action should be taken


now? they should advice or help Mr. Hanuman and try to retain him as he is an

Communication must be taken place with both Mr. Hanuman and Mr. Keshav.
Clear the doubts risen in the mind of Mr. Keshav.
5. What repercussions would this incident have on all
involved?
Due to this situation the employees will loose faith on the
company , they will be in doubts for continuing the services
because if such old, experienced person is been insulted without
his mistake.
The company will loose its well skilled and hard working
employee.
This may have an effect on the trust the employees had on
the company.
There will be a bad effect on the ongoing important project.
SUMMARY:-
Vikas Pvt Ltd, the company with 50 years of value and success has a good place in Indian market for its quality
products. The Company has achieved the milestone and become a firm of having assets of 200 crore and over
10,000 employees . With effect to April 1, 1974 the top management decided to finally introduce decentralized
administration as a solution to the company’s management crises.
Mr. Vasudeva was appointed as the Chief Executive . Mr. Hanuman was appointed as the foreman to look after
the new ongoing project of redesigning the export model-T-compressor-cum-vacuum . He was a hard working
and skilled worker. Mr. Keshav was appointed as the work manager .
Mr. Keshav had no idea about the new project , one day he came to know the work been carried and he was kept
in dark. When Mr. Hanuman told him about the project he got angry with Hanuman and insulted him gave him
the notice – demanding exclamation within 24 hours.
Hanuman went here and there for help but did not receive one. As he was a sensitive person and would not
compromise on issues affecting his dignity.
So, he handed over his resignation letter to the general manager.
News of his resignation spread like wild fire, and all the employees were eagerly waiting for the outcome.
