 Membership Requirements
● You must have completed Algebra I and Geometry
● Must currently be taking a math course, even if you have
finished Calculus/ Stats
● If you are in an on-level class, you must maintain an average of
90+. For AAC/AP, you must have an average of 80+
Hours:
● 10 hours per year
● Document your hours on our provided hour sheet (posted on
our website)
 Registration
● If you haven’t already, make sure you have filled out the registration
from. All members must fill it out!

● After you have filled out the registration form, you will have to pay dues
through Revtrak
○ Dues will be due October 17th @ 11:59 pm!
○ Only new members need to pay dues!
○ If you are a returning member but pay dues, you will not be
refunded!
 Math Bingo

● Create your own bingo board for one volunteer hour

● You must include:
○ A list of at least 20 math problems from topics covered in Algebra I and
beyond (no simple problems w/ just addition, subtraction, etc…)
■ Make sure to include a variety of different problems, not just all
inequalities or all trig
■ Problems + their solutions should be on a separate sheet of paper
○ Make a 5x4 bingo sheet and write the answers to your problems on the
board
○ Your bingo sheet should be neatly decorated on an 8.5x11 page
● The answers to your problems don’t have to be just one number
○ Your answers can be graphs, multiple solutions, or whatever fits your
scenario

● Turn in your hard copy to Mr. Crosby by 10/18!

● You must also upload a picture of both your bingo board and the
problems + WORKED OUT solutions to this submission link:

 Math Lecture
● Choose one of the following lectures to watch:

■ This last one is quite long, so you can skip around but try to watch at
least 20 minutes of it
■ The first 7-8 minutes is just an introduction to the speaker
● Write a minimum of 2 paragraphs, at least 5 sentences each about what you learned /
what you found interesting about the video

 Recycling
● Go around to all the teachers classrooms and collect their recycling
● Dump all of their recycling (except plastic) in the bin outside
● Bring the plastic back to Crosby’s room
● One volunteer hour

 T- Shirts
● T- Shirt Design Contest has been extended!
● T- Shirt Requirements:
○ 2 colors front, 2 colors back
○ Include “Elkins MAO” somewhere on the shirt
○ Include “2021-2022”
● Otherwise, be creative! Design something that you know you would wear!
● If your design is chosen, you will receive 1 extra volunteer hour
● 30 minutes for each submission, cap of 30 mins!
● All submissions will be due by September 24th @ 11:59 pm
● You can turn a paper copy into Mr. Crosby

 Lunches of Love
● Decorate 25 brown paper lunch bags for 1 hour
○ Both the front and back must be decorated
○ Hours will be awarded based on quality!
● Cap of 2 hours per semester!
● Turn them in during any of the meetings!
● Examples:

● We will have mandatory meetings once a month!
● You will only be allowed to miss 1 meeting per semester
○ If you exceed 1 meeting, you will have to complete 30 additional
volunteer minutes
● Currently, our meetings will be the THIRD MONDAY of every months!
