 WHAT IS URBAN CLAP ?
UrbanClap is a platform to make our urban lives more fulfilling
to solve our needs in a clap. Hence the name, UrbanClap. 
It enables users to find any service professional like a plumber, a
wedding photographer, a yoga teacher, or an interior designer.
They want to be the go-to platform helping customers complete
the projects that are important to their urban lives – everything
from designing their homes to capturing key moments, learning
arts, filing taxes, and getting healthier etc.
 BUSINESS MODEL

The working of UrbanClap is based on two simple models:


• For standardized, blue collared services like electricians or home
cleaning, where you just want the job done, you can directly
book and pay for the service on their app.
• For white collared services, which are the larger part of the
business, like photographers, interior designers or yoga
instructors is done through an automated match-making
algorithm, which the team is investing heavily to continue
perfecting.
 SCOPE AND CONSUMER BEHAVIOUR
In the modern and urban world the people are very busy in their lives and
do not have enough time to go out of there houses to find day to day
services like plumbing, repairing (such as AC, Refrigerator etc.), beauty
and saloon services etc. of appropriate quality and satisfaction. This is
when the companies like “UrbanClap” come in to play, Urban Clap
provides the above mentioned services at affordable prices and high
quality. According to a survey, following extracts and feedback are
observed:
1. Consumer Awareness- 77% of the consumers know about the services
provided by the company.
2. Usage- 62% of the consumers use the app to book services, while 38%
use other sources to book the services
3. Response Time- 79% of the users received the service on time.
4. Cleanliness and Hygiene- 81% of the users said the cleanliness and
hygiene was up to the mark.
5. Satisfaction- 80% users were satisfied with quality of the service.
