There are 3 parts
 Goals : provide information about the purpose of the procedure text
Materials : provide information about the list of materials or needed
Steps : contains a list of instructions sequences for creating or operating
something
Language Features of Procedure Text
Simple Present Tense
 It must be written using the Simple Present Tense because there are sentences of
fact about the creation or use of something.

Imperative Sentence
 Aims to order, asking, instructing and prohibiting people from doing something.
 Exmp: add 3 onions and mix it well with the dough.

Conjunction
o used as a link between one activity and another.
o Exmp:  firstly, secondly, then, after that, finally, last, and, etc.

Adverbs
 used to provide time information.
 Exmp: in 10 minutes, for 1 hour, during the first half hour
