ORIENTATION
Parallel
Two lines or planes are parallel when they are an equal distance apart at every point. Parallel entities never
intersect, even if extended to infinity. Engineering Symbol

Perpendicular
Two lines or planes are perpendicular when they intersect at right angles (or when the intersection that would be formed
if they were extended would be a right angle)

Engineering Symbol

Angular
When two lines intersect, they define an angle

POSITION

Concentric
Denoting circles, arcs, or other shapes which share the same center, the larger often
completely surrounding the smaller.

Coincident

Two entities are tangent if they touch each other but do not intersect, even if extended to infinity, as shown below. A line
that is tangent to a circle will have only one point in common with the circle.
GROUP/UNGROUP (BOOLEAN)

Subtract: Removes the shared volume(s) from one or both Union: Creates a new solid which encloses the combined
inputs. volume of the two inputs.
