Introduction
This project consists of
developing an interchange
between Zarzouna and Menzel
Abderrahmen.
Its main objective is to
improve the movement of
people and goods within the
Bizerte urban center and in the
country’s North and East
Regions.

Interchange design
◦ we have both chosen the ground roundabout interchange type for
this project. So, we have two concrete slab bridges in the linking
road
◦ the lane width is 3.5 m

◦ The median strip is 3m width.
◦ The shoulder is 2.5m width.
◦ The two end spans are 16m long and the two central spans
are 20m long.
◦ The total length of the bridge is 72m.
◦ he width of the bridge is 14m.

Conclusion
This project was a big opportunity to deal with a real-life structure through different phases :
◦ First, we treated the traffic data to identify the number of lanes, The class of traffic and the
dimensioning using Allizé software
◦ Then, we established a geometric conception on Autocad
◦ Finally, we studied the behavior of the structure and its stability using SAP2000
