A vowel is a sound produced with a comparatively open configuration of the vocal tract. In
everyday language, a vowel is a letter (sound) of the English alphabet that is not a consonant.
five English vowels is ( i, a, e, o, u ) . and this table is the most important vowel sounds.

The consonant sounds is a letter (sound) of the English alphabet that is not a vowel. (24) sound.
Consonant sounds is divided into 2 section : (9) voice and (15) voiceless.
• If they vibrate as the sound is produced, its said to be voiced.
Such as in { b, d, g, v, ð, z, Ʒ, ʤ, m, n, ɳ, l, r, w, j }.
• If they don’t vibrate as a sound is produced, its said to be voiceless.
Such as in {p, t, k, f, s, ʃ, ʧ, Ɵ, h}.
