FORM Future Continuous with "Be Going To "
[am/is/are + going to be + present participle]
Examples:
• You are going to be waiting for her when her plane arrives
tonight.
• Are you going to be waiting for her when her plane arrives
tonight?
• You are not going to be waiting for her when her plane arrives
tonight.
• REMEMBER: It is possible to use either "will" or "be going to" to
create the Future Continuous with little difference in meaning
It describes the idea that an action will happen
in the normal course of events.
It refers to routine activities, not intentions,
decisions or plans.
Example:
• I'll be writing to you again.
(I always write to you, so I'll do it again, as usual.)
• They'll be leaving on Friday. You can join them.
(They normally leave on Fridays.)
• Everybody will be working on a computer sooner or
later.
We can also use the Future Continuous to project ourselves
into the future and see something happening
Example:
1.You'll recognize me when you get there. I'll be wearing jeans
and a white t-shirt. I'll be sitting at a table at the corner and reading
a newspaper.
