Lombok Island is an island in the Nusa Tenggara archipelago which is separated by the Lombok Strait
from Bali to the west and the Alas Strait to the east from Sumbawa. The island is more or less round in
shape with a kind of "tail" on the southwest side which is approximately 70 km long. The island's area
reaches 5,435 km² placing it at number 108 of the list of islands by area in the world. The main city on
this island is Mataram City. there are some interesting things owned by the following Lombok :

1. Cidomo
Cidomo is another name for Cikar, gig, car. This transportation is a
characteristic of the island of Lombok. Cidomo is a passenger carriage
that moves on two wheels and is pulled by a horse.
Cidomo can be found around tourist sites or ports. One cidomo can
usually carry 3-5 passengers. Cidomo fares vary, depending on the
route you choose. On average, it costs around IDR 40,000-IDR75,000.
Meanwhile, for the tariff around the island with Cidomo, the price
range starts from Rp. 125,000.
 2. Plane

Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport, is a

domestic and international airport located in Central
Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara province,
Indonesia.
With ticket prices from Yogyakarta to Lombok starting from Rp. 1,500,000 - Rp. 2,500,000
 3. Bicycle

Bicycles are the mainstay of tourists who are

on vacation in Gili Trawangan. Fares are
cheaper than Cidomo.
For the hourly rental fee of Rp. 15,000.

For daily rent, it costs around IDR 50,000 to IDR 100,000 if you want to rent a bicycle for a full day.
 4. Ojek/Motorcycle

Motorcycle taxis are used by tourists to avoid traffic

jams in the city and to drive at night because public
transportation in the city only operates until the
afternoon.
Ojek transportation can be a mainstay when traveling
around the city in Mataram, Praya, or Senggigi.

Mandalika is located in the south of the island of
Lombok, namely in the village of Kuta, Pujut sub-
district, Central Lombok regency, NTB. Mandalika
offers marine tourism with stunning beach and
underwater charm. Mandalika comes from the name
of a legendary figure, namely Princess Mandalika
who is known for her beautiful face. Every year, the
people of Central Lombok celebrate the Bau Nyale
ceremony, which is a ritual to find sea worms which
are believed to be the incarnation of Princess
Mandalika. This celebration is a unique culture and
attracts both local and international tourists.

Gili Trawangan is one of thousands of dyke on the

island of Lombok, NTB. One of the other beauties
offered is Gili Trawangan Island which has
extraordinary exoticism with marine nature and
culture.Even the beauty of the beaches on this
island is not inferior to the beauty of the beaches in
Bali. Gili Trawangan is the largest of the three other
islands on the tip of the island of Lombok. Two other
small islands named Gili Menu and Gili Air.The
meaning of the name Gili TrawanganAs for Gili

Trawangan is formed from two words, namely gili
and trawangan.Initially, this island was called

Mount Rinjani is a mountain located on the

located at latitudes 8º25' South Latitude and
116º28' East Longitude is a favorite mountain
for Indonesian climbers because of its beautiful
scenery. This mountain is part of the Mount
Rinjani National Park which has an area of ​
about 41,330 ha and it will be proposed to
increase it to 76,000 ha to the west and east.
