RATIONALE:

• There is no better way of learning experience than work immersion. It provides an


avenue to test and apply what people have learned in a non-school scenario. In work
immersion, learners are able to experience the social interactions in a work environment.
• With growing threats from increase Covid-19 cases in the province, people are afraid, we
are cautious to go out to markets to buy our necessities, especiall food.
• The purpose of this gardening is to have a more convenient and safer source of cheaper
vegetable foods than those from the market.This experience is a good motivation
to have individual vegetable garden of each participating students.
IV. BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
• This special project activity shall be conducted on the Cadingan's Organic
Farm, Purok 4, Dibibi, Cabarroguis, Quirino.
• It will be a two-month activity for the participants of Quirino General
High School (QGHS) Senior High School students.
• The participating students will be gardening an unplowed and uncultivated
portion of the Farm.
V. OBJECTIVES:

• To develop good work habits, attitudes, appreciation and respect for work
especially for farmers.
• To enrich their skills in horticulture.
• To develop or enhance skills by working with experts or veteran.

• Prepare project proposal.


• Coordinate the activity to all concerned.
• Seek approval from the school principal.
• Seek approval from the owner of the farm.
• Coordinate with the whole team.

X. BENEFITS/IMPACT:
To Students
• This immersion will give the students the opportunity to discover, develop and showcase their
knowledge and skills in communication, strategy, flexibility in workplace, and to improve their
personalities as well.
To Teachers
• The teachers will not be able to have hard time in teaching students about the importance of
community service and farming.
To School/Division
• In this kinds of immersion, schools name will benefit having the reputation of competent students who
are willing to immerse in real world to excel in future careers.
