 MY BLUEPRINT IN TEACHING
‘’Education is a social process; education is growth; education is not
preparation for life but is life itself.’’ John Dewey describes and support
progressivism, an educational philosophy that I professionally identify with.

I believe that each student is a different unique individual with

diverse intelligence who needs a proper and secure education for them to
grow and develop in all aspects. So, as a future educator, my philosophy in
teaching will -ameliorate and help students cultivate their potential by
involving and allowing them to take responsibility for their learning. My
role as a teacher is to act primarily as a facilitator of learning, I will
encourage and guide students to explore and promote their development.

 MY BLUEPRINT IN TEACHING

I believe that active engagement and cooperative learning will

enhance the student’s life skills and what they will carry with them in

the future. From my personal experience as being a student, I learned

more effectively when I actively interested in the classroom activities.

So, if my students are interested in the subject matter, they’ll want to

learn and do not feel forced to learn. I’ll present a curriculum that

involves the interest of the children and makes learning relevant to life.

My philosophy’s teaching methods.

Using the following ways, I may stimulate my student’s learning.

 Democratic learning
- I will allow my students to choose what and how they learn. In this way, each of my
students takes control of their educational path.
 Emphasis on Learning by doing/experiencing
- This method will provide my students to reflect on what to keep doing, what to tweak
and repeat, or what to change. Thus, they will learn from what they are doing.
 Community based learning
-This learning brings the world into the classroom so my students can implement social
change. Has emphasis on lifelong learning and social skills.
 Group work
- Students’ interests will be awakened if they are in a group. I believe that one of the

most important is to instruct students to explore in a group setting.

 MY BLUEPRINT IN TEACHING
These methods, are for me, the best to help my students develop
physically, emotionally, mentally and socially. I will work hard to teach
according to the needs of each student so that they can feel capable and
become successful. I can assure myself that they will learn and develop
their full potential and acquire secure education.
I know teaching is indeed a big challenge to educator, but I believe
a teacher lives to serve. A teacher is dedicated to learning, to his or her
student, and to making the future the best possible place for students to
live. These are the challenges I’ll going to accept because I chose to be a
teacher.
