1. Set up the categories
Decide the name for each category and then hit Ctrl + H (or click on Edit > Find and Replace),
in “Find” type: Category A and in “Replace with” type: The name of your category, for
example: Math and click on “Replace all”.
Repeat this for each category, Find: Category B, Replace with: Geography - Find: Category C,
Replace with: History and the same with Category D.

2. Type the questions
Type a question on each white card. Add a minimum of 6 questions per category.
Once you have the questions ready, select everything on the “card” slide (12 shapes) and click
on Arrange > Align > Center and Arrange > Align > Middle.
Select the whole deck of cards and hit Ctrl + X (or Right click > Cut), go to the panel slide
and paste it (Ctrl + V), now place it on top of its category placeholder.
Repeat this for every category.
If you want to use more than 6 questions to have as backups in case of incorrect answers
(the extra questions will help complete a category) add 6 more questions on the second
“card” slide, and simply paste one stack on top of the other on the panel slide.

3. Name the teams
Let the teams choose their name, and hit Ctrl + H (or click on Edit > Find and Replace), in
“Find” type: Team 1 name and in “Replace with” type: The name chosen by this team, for
example: The Avengers and click on “Replace all”.
Repeat this for each team, Find: Team 2 name, Replace with: … - Find: Team 3 name,
Replace with: ... and the same with Team 4 name.

4.1 Time to play!
If you are a Google Slides user, I recommend you get
this Chrome extension or the Bookmarklet for a Full Screen effect while in edit (Yes, this deck
is to be used in edit). If you use PPT you can “hide” the thumbnails.
Explain simple rules, such as: which team goes first and if you want each team to choose the
category they want to play, or if for example, Team 1 decides the category for Team 2, Team 2
for Team 3, Team 4 for Team 1.
Also explain if correct answers will allow the team to keep playing and incorrect ones will
make them lose their turn, or if you want to play rounds of one question for each team.

4.2 Time to play!
Click on the chosen category and delete its cover to reveal the question. If the team answers
correctly, drag their name tag underneath the category name on the panel. If incorrect, you
don’t need to do anything.
Click on the question answered and delete it, so the cover will show again.
Repeat this for each question.

Tip. Customize colors
If you want to change the colors of this template. Click on Slide > Edit Theme, Click on
Colors and Change the theme colors.
You’ll need to change accent 1, 2, 3 and 4.
