GENERAL STATEMENTS
It is my passion to teach and inculcate the minds of the young in
todays' generation. I'm so proud of being a teacher. To touch and
change the lives of my students not just on their academic but
also their way of life outside the four corners of the classroom.
For me, being a teacher is not just a job but it's more than that. A
calling or vocation. Having a lot of paper works, workloads,
sleepless nights, and so many adversities I can say that it is
fulfilling in my part as a teacher. I can see how I was able to
transform my students into becoming productive, efficient,
excellent, and good citizen in the community. Being in this
teaching profession made me realized how important a teacher
is. A person that is not only teaching children to read, write, and
speak but the one that makes the community intact, united and
having dedication to serve each and everyone. Helping each
other for the common good. In modernization of the world,
technology plays a vital role in transforming the society through
the use of different media platforms. The department of
education adapted the use of technology in the teaching-learning
process. It really helps so much to the teachers like me to lessen
my time of preparing my lessons. It makes my work easier. We
are physically isolated due to the global pandemic but
technology keeps us virtually connected. With the absence of
face-to-face classes, the internet has become our global
marketplace, a global workspace and a virtual meeting place –all
of which are dependent to technology. Amidst the pandemic,
educational technology serves as my key to fulfill the learning
continuity plan of our school. It helps me to become connected
with the students I am teaching with despite none face to face
interaction. Technology becomes my tool to guide my students
whenever they need assistance. It really makes me easier to
connect with my students with just a click of my fingers. Now I
can say that technology as a tool is useful and important in my
teaching profession.
