departures and latitudes but will be opposite in sign. Sum: 1001.26  +0.137  - 0.051

Correction to the departure of AB = - 0.137 x = - 0.014m

Correction to the departure of BC = - 0.137 x = - 0.022m

Correction to the departure of CE = - 0.137 x = - 0.020m etc etc

Latitude errors are adjusted the same way.

Correction to the latitude of a line =

Total latitude correction x

Correction to the latitude of AB = +0.051 x = + 0.005m

Correction to the latitude of BC = +0.051 x = + 0.008m

Correction to the latitude of CE = +0.051 x = + 0.007m etc etc

Be careful of the + and - signs.
Etc etc.
Last step is calculating coordinates (Easting, Northing) !!
The Eastings of traverse station points are calculated using the departures of the traverse lines.
The Northings are calculated using the latitudes of the traverse lines.

In the example, if the coordinates of A are given as 1000mE, 2000mN then the coordinates of point B are:
Easting = 1000 – 13.282 = 986.718m East
Northing = 2000 – 102.54 = 1897.460m North

Calculate the coordinates at C from those at B, and similarly for the remaining points.
Easting = 986.718 – 15.609 = 971.109m East
Northing = 1897.460 – 156.47 = 1740.99m North

As a check, the coordinates of the first station should be calculated from the coordinates of the last station
(as was done with the whole circle bearings). You should get back to (1000mE, 2000mN)
