collaborated with fleet
owners to provide trucking

 Time Saving
In the earlier models of trucking,
one truck driver would drive the
entire distance which increase the
delivery time as driver needs to
stop to eat, take rest and sleep on
long journeys.Whereas in the relay
model every driver drives only for
250kms to 300ksm which results
in time saving as there is no loss of
time in break or during sleeping as
drivers are keep changing.
 Life of Drivers
Relay Trucking helps the drivers to
avoid the poorly developed pit stops
in India as there is lack of proper
sleeping arrangement, bathing
arrangement or availability of healthy
food. This put the drivers at health
hazard and also reduces there
efficiency and create risk of accident
due too poorly rested drivers. In case
of Rivigo Drivers work only for 5, 6
hours and return to their home within
a day which help them stay efficient
without even affecting their social
life.
 Less Spoilage
Different type of products needs different
type of truck and temperature, like
perishable products need refrigerated
facility. Traditional trucking companies
provided this facility but drivers at time
used to shut of refrigeration to save fuel
as they were given incentive for saving
fuel. This lead to spoilage while Rivigo
doesn’t offer incentive on this parameter
so drivers don’t switch refrigeration off.
Also the refrigeration could be controlled
through client which help further to keep
the spoilage to lowest level.
 Low Chances of Accident
Indian Trucks haven’t been the safest
vehicles on the road as till now most of
the owners of these trucks doesn’t
consider safety as an important
parameter. Rivigo trucks are being
installed with Automatic Braking similar
to ADAS being offered in cars. This help in
preventing large number of accidents
which would eventually help in reduction
of accident and lower supply chain
issues for the Client. Also Ashok Leyland
provides regular service to trucks at
every pit stop which further reduce the
Chances of truck malfunction and
accidents.
 FUTURE VISION
Rivigo aims to scale by offering
Relay as a Service(RaaS) to fleet
owners, who find it difficult to
get truck drivers and make their
trucks efficient. In the next five
years, Rivigo aims to run 3000
to 50000 trucks in the relay
ecosystem .It also aims to put
the next technology on IoT
sensors and manage the fleet of
fleet owners. Its vision is
changing the lives of more than
100000 truck drivers by the year
2024.
