FIREBOLT - One Touch Ambulance Booking &
Patient Health Monitoring System
INTRODUCTION

• Emergency service providers provide service in

the shortest amount of time.

• This ambulance management system with fully

functional website, managed important data in
database , and health monitoring system.

• To improve existing healthcare services.

LITERATURE REVIEW

• Goal is to provide a well designed, functional and an easily accessible website for all users.

• Website is to make it dynamic.

• Backend or server side is the backbone of any website.

• Password Based Activation & Deactivation System.

• Utilizing passwords for confirmation.

• Health Monitoring System- the current techniques for recording patient data and checking
that patient specifically.
SOFTWARE AND PROGRAMMING

• Full stack Application containing both Front

End and Back end.
• Communications with Hardware via HTTP
Protocol.
• HTML CSS JS for Front end, PHP MYSQL for
Back end.
Figure 2: Used tech stack for web
ER-DIAGRAM

• Different tables to contain essential data like

user_info, car_info, sensor values etc.
• Table Joining using Primary-Key & Foreign-
Key concept.
• Uploading & Fetching of several Health
Parameters from Database in real-time.
• md5 hashing to ensure the security of User’s
Data.

USE-CASE DIAGRAM

• Role based authentication with 3 different

roles – User, Driver, Admin.
• Users can view, book ambulance, monitor real
time health data inside the ambulance.
• After booking Driver gets notified, starts the
journey reaching at destination can end it.
• Admin adds/updates/removes Ambulances,
tracks each ambulance, view statistics clears
completed bookings from system etc.

VEHICLE TRACKING

• Ambulance Tracking using Google Map during

the journey to Hospital.
• Both User can Driver can Track the Vehicle .
• Show the Distance between Patient’s home to
Hospital and the root available with minimum
distance with Dijkstra’s shortest path
Algorithm.

KEY FEATURES

• Implementation of AJAX(Asynchronous JavaScript

and XML).
• Easy CRUD(create, read, update, delete) operations
with Login Logout & Session Management.
• Both User & Driver will be able to track Vehicle
during the journey.
• ESP8266WebServer, ESP8266HTTPClient Library in
Node MCU to Connect.

• Completely dynamic Routing is applied in the
website.

WHY USE PASSWORD SYSTEM?

• A password or passcode, is secret data, usually used to confirm a user's identity.

• Password security helps to Prevent access breaches.

• When user will create a profile and login at that time the password will also created and he
will always be able to use until he changes the password.

• The user will type their password on the keypad of the ambulance and display it. If the
password is correct then the ambulance will be activated.

Fig 7: Block Diagram Fig 8: Circuit Diagram

WORKING OF THE SYSTEM

• User types the password on the keyboard and the data from the keyboard goes to Arduino
and displays the LCD from Arduino.

• The data from the LCD goes to the Node MCU from Arduino.

• From Node MCU the data goes to the server and the server checks the password and if the
password is correct then go to the Node MUC to show the message password is correct.

WHAT Is HEALTH MONITORING SYSTEM?

• Health , a major concern of the human race is advancing in terms

of technology.

• Brings down the measurement time, helps in obtaining care at

the golden time during emergency situations.

• The system plays a major role in delivering quality care for

patients even in rural areas.

• The system is possible to save the time of patients as well as

doctors.

sensor
OBJECTIVE OF HEALTH MONITORING
SYSTEM

• The Specialist at a distance can monitor the patient condition so that he can save the life.

• Those reports can be used to consult with doctors within very short time.

• This System is to be available at reasonable prices.

• Embedded technology is to be use for monitoring the patient condition easily.

• The model is very effective for rural areas people.

MONITORING SYSTEM

Fig 11: Block diagram of health monitoring system Fig 12: Circuit Diagram of Health Monitoring System
WORKING OF THE SYSTEM
• There are mainly two parts , one is transmitter and the other one is the receiver.

• In the transmitter, we have Oximeter Sensor, ECG Sensor , temperature Sensor.

• Sensor are connected to the patient .

• The microcontroller monitors all system in the transmitter, if any abnormality in the patient
condition , it sends the data or signal so that the receiver will capture the data or signal and will
work according to that.

Working Progress of Health Monitoring System
FUTURE SCOPE

• Password System

• Only user can activated the ambulance ,driver can’t activated the ambulance
as per their wish .So it play a major role in password system.

• Interaction between hardware and software

• The data stored in the server via Node MCU will be displayed on the Check
Health web page.
CONCLUSIONS

• The Indian population, and thus the number of vehicles, is growing, causing
congestion on road networks.

• Firebolt- one touch ambulance booking and heath monitoring system will be
capable of handling the situation, able to provide the appropriate medical attention
for the patient's assistance.

• Faster transport of an accident victim to the nearest hospital with their uploaded
health data.

• Able to take another step forward in the healthcare sector.
