1. INTRODUCTION
Motivation

The Electric Vehicle Project in itself is an interesting project to opt for EV's are a
growing aspect in today s generation
• For the advancements of automobile industry
• As we know the fuel prices are hiking greatiy, but electricity cost is low it is

feasible.
• Recently researchers are focusing more on energy sources
• Cars that have been almost 15-20 years old or being kept as trash can be reused
providing waste management.
• It also reduces the environmental issues
• So, this gave us motivation to design and built an electric vehicle.
OBJECTIVE
In this project, we are converting the gasoline car into fully electric car.
We are taking the Maruti Suzuki 800 and replaces the gasoline material with
electric propulsion system.

Methodology
Our analysis examined consumer perception toward EVs and EV policy, in
order to better understand perceived better to EV ownership and identify
what sort of public policies would consumers most likely to help them
choose an EV for their next vehicle. Methodology the charging of electric
vehicle (EVs) through EV charging systems, including their associated
infrastructure, whose GHG emission reductions are achieved through the
displacement of conventional fossil Fuel vehicle used for passenger and
Freight transportation as result of the electricity delivered by the project
charger.
2.Electric Controller
1.Pure electric vehicle dynamic control system can be divided
into three parts, respectively for the vehicle control system,
motor drive system and power supply system.

2. The core of the whole vehicle control system is vehicle

control technology, the technology including vehicle structure
design of control software, control strategy and energy
management.

3.At the same time, the vehicle controller as an

objectively reflect the actual development of single chip micro
control system for vehicle control technology, electronic
control unit as a measure of the core component of the
vehicle control system performance and function level, its
function realization degree directly affect the control effect of
the control system of the vehicle, has become one of the
evaluation criteria of vehicle controller performance is good.

BATTERY …
Lithium-ion-

The most common battery type in modern electric vehicles are lithium-ion

and lithium polymer, because of their high energy density compared to their
weight. Other types of rechargeable batteries used in electric vehicles
include lead–acid ("flooded", deep-cycle, and valve regulated lead acid, nickel-
cadmium, nickel–metal hydride, and, less commonly, zinc–air, and sodium
nickel chloride ("zebra")  batteries . The amount of electricity (i.e. electric
charge) stored in batteries is measured in ampere hours or in coulombs, with the
total energy often measured in kilowatt-hours.
PROBLOMS…

BATTERY RELATED PROBLOMS …

Electric Vehicle batteries to explode.

Overheating problem.
Battery backup problem.
High cost.
Flammable.
Toxic.

CHARGING RELATED PROBLOMS…

Faulty charger.
Multiple Types of Charging Connectors.
Location to Set up the EV Charging Station.
Technical Safety at EV charging stations.
SOLUTION…
SOLUTION OF BATTERY RELATED PROBLOMS…

Explode-

As we know the two potential reasons when more chances to face an explosion
1-Internal electrical misbalance:
2-If an electric vehicle goes through deep discharge and overcharging cycles

Overheating-

Defective Alternator
A Weak Battery
Short Circuit
Loose Terminal Connections
Improper Charger Use
Wrong Grade Battery Cables
Extreme Temperatures In The Engine Bay
malfunctioning Cooling System
A Large Draw On The Battery
SOLUTION OF CHARGING RELATED PROBLOMS…
Setting up the EV charging station is quite high in cost. To set up the EV charging
infrastructure,
some requirements need to be fulfilled like proper location, land, right vendor, grid
power
stability, remittance of power, varieties of charger types, cables, and other auxiliaries.
DC charging is more useful than AC charging technology.
needs to help for setting up the charging infrastructure by investing with EV companies.
Need multiple Types of Charging Connectors
There are some connectors such as CCS (Combined Charging System), CHADEMO,
and Bharat DC-001, and AC-001, all should be installed in a single charging station so
the consumers will have a choice of having fast and slow charging as per their
requirements
