This portfolio displays changes and

accomplishments related to academic
performance over time.
It documents the students stages of learning and
provides a progressive record of the students'
growth.
 Process Portfolio

It is a purposeful collection of students'

works that documents the students'
growth from novice to master. So, it
demonstrates all the facets or phases of
the learning process.
 Standard-Based
Portfolio

This collects evidence that links

student achievement to particular
learning standards.
 Showcase Portfolio

Also known as the Best Work Portfolio or the

Display Portfolio.
So, in this portfolio, it displays the best of the
student's best works.
The showcase portfolio is often used to share a
student's best achievements or evidence of
learning.
 Progress Portfolio

This contains multiple examples of students work

with same type of work done over a period of
time which are used to assess their progress. All
the activities in this portfolio are scored, rated,
ranked or evaluated.
