beauty of her writing style.
Her works were very sensual, mainly love songs
Her emotions lose nothing of their force by being
recollected in tranquility.
Often referred to as "the Poetess"
Most of Sappho's poetry has mostly survived in
fragmentary form; only the "Ode to Aphrodite" is
certainly complete.
