The term may also be applied to any machine that exhibits traits associated with a human mind such as learning and problem- 3 solving. AI – ML – DL AI – Ability of a machine to imitate human intelligence. AI ML – Algorithms to incorporate intelligence into the ML machine by automatically learning from data. D L DL - Algorithms that mimic the human brain to incorporate intelligence into machines.

5 COMMON TECHNOLOGIES USED WITH AI
AI works by combining large amounts of data with fast, iterative processing
and intelligent algorithms, allowing the software to learn automatically from patterns or features in the data. AI is a broad field of study that includes many theories, methods, and technologies, as well as the following major subfields:
• Machine Learning [ML]
• Deep Learning [DL] • Cognitive Computing • Natural Language Processing [NLP] 6 FEW KEY TERMINOLOGIES
Supervised Learning is a machine learning approach that’s
defined by its use of labeled datasets. These datasets are designed to train or “supervise” algorithms into classifying data or predicting outcomes accurately. Using labeled inputs and outputs, the model can measure its accuracy and learn over time.
to analyze and cluster unlabeled data sets. These algorithms discover hidden patterns in data without the need for human intervention (hence, they are “unsupervised”). 7 FEW KEY TERMINOLOGIES
Reinforcement Learning is a machine learning training method based
on rewarding desired behaviors and/or punishing undesired ones. In general, a reinforcement learning agent is able to perceive and interpret its environment, take actions and learn through trial and error.
A Confusion Matrix is a table that is used to define the performance of
a classification algorithm. A confusion matrix visualizes and summarizes the performance of a classification algorithm.
Cognitive Computing is the use of computerized models to simulate
the human thought process in complex situations where the answers may be ambiguous and uncertain. 8 BENEFITS & CHALLENGES 9 The creation of powerful artificial intelligence will be “either the best or the worst thing, ever to happen to humanity”. - Professor Stephen Hawking 1 0 THANK YOU Do you have any questions?
