about 27.8 kilometres away.
INTRA Position
Throughout the INTRA period, the student assigned as QC
Inspector in production assembly. All task was assigned to
the student has been arranged by the person who will
supervise the student in the company.
Company Supervisor
The company supervisor that had being assigned to monitor
the student during the INTRA period is Mr. Goh Cher How
who is an Assistant Manager whom responsible for the
Quality Control Department for OM5040 machine and
responsible to monitor and evaluate the student works during
the INTRA period.

1) QC INSPECTOR
CHECKING
Trainee will take the parts and check the painting all the parts
whenever the part is in good quality or not. Except painting, the
trainee needs to check the condition of parts and make sure the
part not dented, scratches, discoloration, debris, and good
surface roughness.
2) Color

A spectrophotometer is a color
measurement device used to
capture and evaluate color. We
use them to monitor color
accuracy throughout production.
Figure below shows part arrived

reading must be below than 1.30.

For the electrical test, the trainee needs to inspect all cable is
integrate same to work instruction. All cable needs to connect
as per color or grounding to make sure the electrical can make
the power for machine movement

The hipot test is a nondestructive test that

determines the adequacy of electrical insulation for

for a specific time in order to ensure that the
insulation is not marginal

 For the 24 weeks (6 months) of industrial training in Grand Venture
Technology Sdn Bhd, I have gained lot of knowledge and as well as
working experiences which will help me for my future work in the
engineering industry. I have found out that learning and working are
two different natures, in terms of both the environment and trials

Therefore, the skills in handling this work-related stress must be

honed as the pressure and high expectations in big corporation like
GVT is imminent. Time organization in working is very important
CONCLUSION and imperative. Time should be used to additional improve the
productivity of our production.

Finally, INTRA has given trainee an opportunity to discover and

develop own potential which will eventually give big contribution
and help improving trainee to be a useful and influence worker and
community that will bring useful deeds to the 25 community in
future. GVT is being suggest for any INTRA students that are
looking up for INTRA placement as students are being exposed to
real working life
