I. BACK GROUND OF THE STUDY
-ESP translated to English language as used in this study means Educational of -
becoming human .it means learners are expected to be nurtured in this subject to
become humane as intended out come that process mainly the emotional quotient

The school plays an important role in shaping the Good manners ang morals of the
youth. The subject of humanities bacause it aims to establish the Good manners of the
Filipinos.

II.STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

This mini-research will help the researcher determine the performance of grade 10-
Diamond Students in Esp at Baloling National High School for the 3 rd quarter of S.Y .2020-
2021
III.SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY

The Researcher may be able to identify students who needs support and intervention in
this subject . This will reveal wheter or not the students in Grade 10 –Diamond class are
having difficulty with ESP.

This is Quantitative research. Documentary analysis was used in conducting this
mini research

V. Results and Findings

The class has an average of 47.96 or 48% in ESP


75% of the students (21) have an score of less than or equal to 62
38% of the students (7) have an score of greater than or equal to 62

91% of the scores are less than the comulative freequency of 67


9% of the scores are greater than the 67.
Conclusion and Recomendation

Based on the results , the Grade 10 Diamond got a low mastery level of
performance for the 3rd quarter in ESP . There only a students who
passed the summative test and most of the students got a failing grade

The ESP Teachers of Grade 10 Diamond most preapared Intervention


material for that 91% of failed to reach above 67 of the grade
