OF ISLAM
In practice, the economy of Islam cannot be released from contracts or instruments which maintain all the doers to
be in correct way in order the aim of the economy of Islam can reach happiness in the world and in the day
hereafter. There are some kinds of Muamalah in the economy of Islam namely:
1. SyirkahIn termonology, Syirkah is cooperatrive, commercial association or united. Syirkah, in practice of
economic activities, is an exertion to combine resources such as money capital, expertise or competence, raw
materials, working link, done by two people or more in order to reach mutual aim.
2. Mudharabah.Mudharabah is a contract to tie mutual agreement between two sides namely capitalist (shahib-al-
mal) and manager (mudharib). Mudharabah contract is also called profit sharing for certain people by means of
determining the persentage of surplus for every side. Capitalist bears the risk of capital loss. Assets provided
by the capitalist belong to the capitalist. If the manager breaks the contract, the manager is compulsory to bear
the risk fully to make up the capital borrowed.
3. Trade (Bai' Almudhorobah)Trade is a contract valid to tie the seller and the buyer by means of transfering of
submitting and receiving goods between the seller and the buyer. The basic law is stated in the Qur'an, al-
Baqarah: 198 namely: "No sin for you to seek luck from Allah in trade activities" Some contracts in trade
transaction (Bai' Almudhorobah): - Bissamnil Ajil, namely transaction of goods trade with different prices
between contract and installments. It can be found in buying of credit goods.
