ABOUT THE COMPANY
 Established in 1952, the vision of the West African
Examinations Council is “to be a world- class
Examining body”. This body now recognized
around the world, conducts two main examinations
annually- The May/June and the November/
December. WAEC has several branches in various
countries of West Africa including Nigeria, Ghana,
Sierra- Leone, Liberia and the Gambia.

PARTICIPATION AND WORK DONE
 I designed an application in Microsoft Office access
for Amendment cases
 I was involved in the design of the website for
printing of Invitation letters by Examiners
 I designed a website for printing of maintenance
forms
 I was involved in the capture and updating of
Examiners’ data

OBSERVATIONS AND CONTRIBUTIONS

 Work Seasons

 No time for SIWES Staff.

 I helped in educating the other SIWES student

 I made suggestions which were looked into in

the design of the software for update of the
examiners’ records.

 Introduction to SQL Databases with SQL

 Knowledge of the Business Environment and

how to work with different types of people

 No payment for SIWES Staff

 NoIdentity Card was provided me so I

was mistaken severally as a Candidate

 Work Load and unnecessary errands

 In Conclusion, I want to thank God for His
grace that saw me through throughout the
period of my SIWES
 I want to thank all the staff of WAEC,

Programming department for their

acceptance and love they showed me,
making my SIWES period a beautiful one
 I want to thank my family, friends, lecturers

and the school for teaching me those values

that distinguished me at my place of work.
