during my stay with them and most of all, for the memories we shared. I thank them

so much. To my co-interns, for being there to support me and confort me whenever

difficulties during my training. I thank them for the friendship and team work and

for being my companies whom I can share my laughter and sorrows with. I really

had a very meaningful and memorable OJT at Far Eastern Bank. Through I

already finished working there as an intern I am looking forward to working with

them, not as a trainee anymore,but as an employee in the future.

I dedicate my accomplishments to those people whose always right

beside me through the goods and hard time, despite of my mistakes that I

made. Specially to my Parents and Family, they're always guide me ,

thought me how to fight,not easy to let go your dreams even how hard and

felt you to give up how hard the trials is,they believe that I will pass by from

any trials. They are always supporting my plans and dreams despite of my

mistakes. And I can say that I am so blessed to have them.They are my

 Internship Agreement

CHAPTER 1

INTRODUCTION

On-the-job training is a form of training place in a normal working situation. It helps

students to gain knowledge by performing in the real working environment. It is essential to

get students to understand how to perform their job correctly.  Colleges require their students

to experience such training in a certain total number of hours.

For the students, an on-the-job training gives opportunities to go through and

explore the particular job by the means of equipment and credentials. The real working

environment turns out to be development site for the trainee to be trained more about their

selected field and run through what they have studied from the college. On the other hand,

an OJT program also profits establishments who acknowledge trainees. Interns can support

and assist normal employees to help minimize their labor activities. The trainees are also a

good way to help employees of the company to extend their patience when it comes to

training the interns on how to handle their work. The management also trains them how to

share what they know and be open to questions. Therefore, the internship also becomes a

way in training for possible.

OBJECTIVES

On-the-Job training was required with the following objectives to attain:

 To develop office productively skills through actual office practice;

 To enhance the academic background of the trainees and to expose 

them to a wide range of education stimuli;

 To acquire more skills and experience significant in the development 

related to the field of specialization;

 To expose trainees to actual working environment and for more 

advance with facilities and techniques not present in school;

 To help trainees develop skills in socialization through warm interaction 

with officemates and co-workers; and 

 To develop the sense of responsibility and self-confidence through 

various assignments given by respective training supervisor.

SCOPE OF ON-THE-JOB TRAINING

The trainee is required to complete Six Hundred (600) Hours of Work Integrated

Learning/On-the-Job training (OJT). He/She must undergo office practicum which has to start

from March 2022 until July 2022 to comply the required number of hours. In this activity, the

trainees were required to prepare necessary documents, submit application for OJT to

various agencies/offices and finally, must be admitted to an   accredited partner agency or

office. The trainees were to prepare daily journalistic report on their daily tasks, strategies

and accomplishments related to their office practicum. 

Provided with the needed forms, the trainee’s accomplishment will be evaluated by

their supervisor. Then, two major evaluations will be conducted by the OJT Adviser, the

preliminary evaluation and final evaluation. After satisfying the 600 hours of Office Practicum,

the trainee will then have to secure certificates of completion from the partner agency/office. 

Then submit a narrative report stating their actual work experience including their

suggestions and recommendations for the On-the-Job Training.

IMPORTANCE OF THE OFFICE PRACTICE

A great starting point for office practices is a good foundation in any administrative jobs.

Employees nowadays are looking candidates who are most skilled and competitive member

for their organization.  On-the-Job Training or OJT is an actual training that occurs inside the

workplace. This training has many advantages but also, it has its disadvantages if not

planned and executed properly. OJT aims to train the students about their future career and

to show the reality of working. Stated below are the importance of having a training or office

practice. 

 Having a high evaluation grade might attract your employer to hire you 

when you graduate;

 Your background OJT is very relevant when seeking for a job. Oftentimes,

employer will ask you the importance of your training to your course and to

the position you are applying for;

 Some companies will give you a monthly allowance if you are doing well in

your tasks; 

 OJT will be your training ground. If you still have no idea on what it means

to be a worker, OJT will give a hint of career realities; 

 Your OJT supervisor may recommend your skills to other companies

whom he knows;

 It will give you a sense of confidence that you can use when applying for a

job after graduation; and 

 Help individuals make informed career choices. 

Students should realize the importance of having the On-the-Job Training. Having a good

performance during the training is a weight especially that nowadays tight competition and

high qualification of job seekers is required.

CHAPTER II

JOURNALISTIC REPORT (OFFICE PRACTICUM)

FIRST WEEK

(March 23-29 2022)

On my first week, Before they given us a task, The accounting/bookkeeper is only

one officer ma'am Sheryl Baldelobar, interviewed us and something state about the rules of

the company.And then after interviewed us, she decided to have a pick up of paper with

written numbers which is symbolise that each of us can assigned to the number we got.and I

got a number of loans so I can assigned at the loan's. Loan's officer ma'am Carol Pajuelas

was giving me a task.First task is to search the borrower's name's from the list she gave. I'll

search the borrower's name from the list that marketing/loan officer gives to me.then I'll

check if the borrower's document is complete and I transfer and record it at the computer.At

first,it felt me trembling, because that was my firstime to use a computer. But even how hard

the task for me still I accept the challenge.Because I believe that ' there's always a first time

'.And I ask a help from the staff if I have no idea about the system.And thanks, I made it.

SECOND WEEK

(April 30 - 5 2022)

My second week I assigned me at accounting/bookkeeper department, because every

day me and my Co OJT decided to have a rotation's department in every week.So that we

can experience the task of every department. The accounting officer/bookkeeper gived me a

task to recheck and compile all the transactions documents before I bind.At first, during doing

my task it felt me hard, because the task are more on Analytical and I need to calculate the

POS if the amount is right or exactly ,then there's a document that you need to separate and

combine. If you solved it exactly same as the Proofsheet, And before you moved to another

month, you can check first if the credit is same as cash On hand then you can start the next

month proofsheet.and I did it very well.

THIRD WEEK

(April 6- 12 2022)

My Third week I was assigned at Cashier's Officer, the Cashier's officer Sir

Celestino Cainto gived me a task.And my task is to arrange the active file's of depositors

accordingly to it's SigCard number or signatures card number or account number.Sometimes

there's is file does not have a SigCard so we need to look for it. Because they have a

SigCard wasn't files that can attached.So I need to look the match of account number from

the files one by one,if I found it I attached it to the files that match it's account number.And if I

finished binding the active account, I need to look the closed account files and arrange it by

months,date, year and after that I'll bind it.after I bind I will encode the account number with

names according to arrangement.I didn't finished the task in One week, So It continued the

next rotation next week. I didn't finished the task, next week it will finished those assigned at

the cashier. Every week we have a rotation that where I assigned.And I'll do everything to do

my next task completed.

FOURTH WEEK

(April 18 - 22 2022)

On my Fourth weeks,ma'am Sheryl Baldelobar accounting/bookkeeper officer

gives me a task for the week. She give me a lists of ATM'S withdrawals and she command

me to check and search all POS according to the list she hand me.but before I start she

explained first how to do it and I easy understand and keep it mind. Then I started the task

silently , I looked at the POS accordingly to the ATM'S card number ,date, time of

withdrawals and the amount.And I'll compute the POS and compare the answer form POS

withdrawals to list of POS withdrawals.And after that I give it back to ma'am Sheryl

Baldelobar and I told her what happened to the task she gived. Every time ma'am Sheryl

Baldelobar gived me a task and if there's is something problem with the task I am not

hesitate to asked , and she explained what I have to do, then I continued the task when the

task I made it successfully she or anyone of the staff are always saying 'Thank you'. It felt me

happy because for me once the employee thanking you it means she's/his satisfied with your

work.

FIFTH WEEK

(April 25 - 29 2022)

On my fifth week at Far Eastern Bank for my OJT, I met an slight problems, when

ma'am Sheryl Baldelobar accounting officer/bookkeeper command me to type a checke in

type writer but I don't know how to use, but luckily to say she give me a chance to practice

even my hands got hurts and my nails was cut I still finished the task and it worth it because I

finished the task successfully. But after that day I still got hurt may hands and I wasn't used a

typewriter but I used a printer. It's happened because it's my first time to use typewriter.I

know the wound can held and I can't give up because of what happened and it's only once

and it's doesn't mean I can easily give up on it and learned from it, I find a technique that I

won't hurt anymore, is to practice and don't tap so hard so you can't hurt. Eventually every

time they command me to type using a typewriter it didn't felt me hurt anymore because I feel

I am already versed.

And that's it, another task for the whole week was completed successfully.

SIXTH WEEK

(May 2 - 6 2022)

During this week of my OJT me and my Co OJT having a rotation,and I assigned at

Cashier's Officer.The cashier's officer Sir Celestino Cainto was gived me a task to scanned

the depositor's closed accounts files By year.and then I will arrange by year and by months

at he's system the files I scanned and saved.Then the next I scanned is the depositor's active

account files.Sometimes because of many file's I felt my eyes was blurd, maybe its because I

am always at the front of the screen. Sir Celestino Cainto told me that he felt the same and

he advice me to wear an anti-radiation eye glasses. I am thankful that I assigned at Far

Eastern Bank because the employees are caring, they care about to our health.but

sometimes I lazy doing my task but of course I'll fight my lazyness to finish my task and I

successfully completed this week.

(May 9 - 13 2022)

This week I assigned at Ma'am Carol Pajuelas loan's officer. I asked her first if

what task she give to me. Then she give me a task to filling a borrower's files name, she

explained to me first hiw to filtered using an exce l. At first I felt nervous because I don't know

how to use excel.but because I want to learned and I accept the challenge, I am focused

what ma'am Carol Pajuelas explained and teach to me.And because I am not hardly to get,

I easy to learned and I'll do the task focused and silent. I didn't finished the task in one day

because it's many borrower's that I need to separate, like the barangay salary loan's from the

commercial loans, agrarian loan's and othe loans. So I doing this task over the whole week.

And thanks to G I did it. I finished the task in one week even though I can feel my eyes

blurred or I got an headache but it worth it when I heared a word ' wow you do it very well

'from Ma'am Carol Pajuelas.it feel me very happy.

(May 16 - 20 2022)

On first day of the week may 9 is non working day because it is the day that give

our right to choose the right to be a leaders of country. A leaders who always think and has a

good plan for our country.And I choose what my heart's choose. And that's it, Next day May

10 is an working day. And I went to office,I was so early in the morning at exactly 7:10am

only Sir Cecilio M Cruz and the guard in the office.I am always great a good morning/good

afternoon every day.And because I am so early, I sweap first the floor and I used map. I used

to do it because I am too early in the morning and I felt bored so I used to do sweapt.Then

after that and Ma'am Sheryl Baldelobar was arrived I great her then I asked her what I have

to do during at office hours and she gived me a task to transact a transactions on her system.

She explained it first how to do it and I got it. I do it every day when she and ma'am Carol

Pajuelas go out to collect and to marketing.If I have no idea I'd used our GC together with the

staff to chat and to asked about the transactions code., Because every transaction has

owned code number.but eventually I made it successfully.

NINE

WEEK

(May 23 - 27 2022)

On my Nine weeks of On- the-Job Training was the week to entertain and to assist the

4ps member came from different barangays. Me and my Co-OJT was assist the 4ps to

transact their ATM's cards. then I'll give them the POS. I told them that one copy of POS is

for them the customers copy and the another copy is the merchant is for the counter because

it has to copy of POS. Sometimes there's a customer who has a lot of ATM'S card. And I

need it to incode for the record for cashier incase of the problems they have a copy to

proved. While I transact the ATM's from the Pawnees I also incoded it to have a record and

to compute at the computer. Because I don't know how to do it I asked an help from one of

the staff. And I easily got it. During I am doing my task I said to my self that another

achievement again for the week, another information again that I learned using a

computer.and it felt me relieved because I gradually learned it during my On-the-Job

Training. I am so happy and my fear to use computer bit by bit I learned from this company

and I am so thankful to have here.

(May 30 - June 3 2022

During this week, I assigned at loans officer ma'am Carol Pajuelas she command me

to arrange the borrower's files and separate it from the closed account to active account. And

she also command me to get the oldest files and put it into the cartoons and cover it a

garbage disposal bags. I'll separate the files by group according to the types of loans. Like

Agrarian loan separate from salary loan's from commercial loans and other loans.

ELEVEN WEEK

(June 6 - 10

2022)

This week we are having a rotation again at Cashier's officer. My Co-OJT command me

to finish her task. She didn't finished it because it's so much files that she search from the

list.And I will do it or should I say I accept the task.My Co-OJT explained to me what I have to

do.I didn't felt nervous because it's not new for me. I started to do my task.I search the

depositors name from the list and I separate then I scanned. And after I scanned I look the

files that I scanned at their pc and I looked the account number from the list then if I found it

I'll put a pen marker to the account number from the list. I did it within three days.After those

task I asked Sir Celestino Cainto what should I because I am done doing my task and I'm

ready to another task.And he said that I rest for a while. But because I am shy that I am only

resting.So I asked my Co-OJT if there's anything I can help while I am waiting to Sir

Celestino Cainto's command. After 1 hour Sir Celestino Cainto called me and he gave me a

task. My task is to sort the dormant account by year, months,date and account number.

TWELVE WEEK

(June 13 - 17 2022)

On this week I'll sort transactions of accountant and I'll bind it by months. It doesn't

felt me difficult because almost every week we sort it. Every week we have a rotation so we

can experience from other officers.If one of my Co-OJT nothing to do they suggested to help

me. And if I am nothing to do also I helped them.We are helping each other.

THIRTEEN WEEK

(June 20 - 24 2022)

This week we're not much busy, because we do the task completely. I only

transact a transactions from cashier at ma'am Sheryl Baldelobar systems.and I'll print it and I

did it successfully completed.

FOURTEEN WEEK

(June 27 - 30 2022)

This week is our last week to stay in Far Eastern Bank for the training. I transact first

the 4ps ATM'S from Duterte's promise to the 4ps members that before he give the

responsibility to the next President Marcos, hes promised to the 4ps members is gived them

another subsidy.

And on our last day we cooked some foods for lunch to celebrate and to give thanks to the

Far Eastern Bank (A Rural Bank) employees that we made our OJT with a great job.

My accomplishments from my OJT/training company, I have a lot accomplishements

during this period and I can handle well and finished successfully completed the task that

they gived to me.Like Sorting files and book bind files from Accounting and cashier's, and

also at loans those task gived to me and every time I made I am so happy, because I made it

successfully completed.And my best accomplishment is to be hands on on computer,

because I learned how to use computer only my training company. Before I was so afraid

even to touch a computer specialy to use, If I atemp to go to computer shop and try to use I

was nervous because what if I clear all data or documents, what if I damage it, those what if

can have a dot.beacause the Far Eastern Bank can fade it away. I realized that there's

nothing wrong to try and to fail. And now I am ready to transact checkes, withdrals,POS, and

other saving transactions at accounting system.

CHAPTER III

SUMMARY

I assigned at Far Eastern Bank of Dolores Eastern Samar for 600 hours On the

Job Training. I started on March 23, 2022. Far Eastern Bank is a Bank who provide and

helped the small businesses. During my first day of my OJT, I felt nervous because I have no

idea to start my day on how to communicate the employees. But I was wrong because Far

Eastern Bank employees are approachable, humble and generous.Because of them I start

my task. If there's is a task I don't have any idea how to do it or it felt me hard I asked a help

to the employee who gave the task to me. And they treat us some snacks at every 3:30pm.

So at the end of my OJT that I promise to myself that I'll treat them as one of my Families. I

enjoyed and satisfied working with them because of their kindness to me.They also inspired

me to be responsible and kind future employee. I have a lot of experience from the

company/agency I assigned. Specifically using a computer and type writer,I met some

mistakes but eventually I easily recovered from it.And we all know and believed that there's

always a first time.And the staff told as ''it's okay because it's your first time its natural got a

mistakes you have more time and you will learned it.''.And it's true after one week I learned

how to use computer, scanner machine and typewriter. At the end of OJT I got a lesson 'OJT

is not only a training but it's also about skills and talents'. I gained knowledge from my

training company.And on how you right communicate with the employees.

REACTION

On my first day of OJT at Far Eastern Bank of Dolores, Eastern Samar,I was felt
any emotions.That time I can't Understand my feelings. I feel like I'm excited at the same
time,I'm nervous, Shaking hands and knees and trembling. And eventually, those un good
behaviour was fade away, we know to our selves that we are not a perfect person that can't
do wrong during training. Fortunately, the time's and day's pass by, the staff, my co OJT was
slowly getting better each other and exchange a jokes.the staff of Far Eastern Bank are
Entertainable and approachable. At the end of our OJT I am super thankful to the
Agency/company.Because only here I learned how to transact on ATM'S machine and of
course,my best achievements is I already know and learned how to use a computer.And to
print and Scan.And I enjoyed here and I treat like I am working with payment.And I learned
that OJT is not only a training but it's also about skills or talent.

RECOMMENDATION

I only recommend to my Almamatter that I hope to be advance in case of giving


information to their students.So that the students can be prepared not to be rushed.

CONCLUSION
When I assigned at Far Eastern Bank (A Rural Bank)Inc. for my OJT I experienced

how to communicate with other people, properly chatting with clients and staff.The staff and

the manager/president Mr. Cecilio M. Cruz, every day if or even not the tasks successfully

completed they are always saying 'Thank you' at the end of the working hours.All the

experienced that I learned from my assigned company during my OJT helps me a lot

because it improve my self and I gained knowledge. Nothing beats experience as the perfect

learning tool OJT served as my stepping tone to pursue my dreams.This training gave me an

inspiration to be more serious and focused in studying. Since I was given some ideas about

the works in the company where I conducted my training, I am inspired to be like them

someday.This training made me realize that it is really good to know what you're doing, and

to love it. It is also a very warm to the heart to know that you have accomplished something

and even warmer when there people who are so proud of what you have alone, and I

experienced this during my OJT.It inspired me to be more determined and competitive in

everything that I do in my daily life.
