INDIVIDUALIZED LEARNING CONTRACT AS TOOLS
FOR ENRICHMENT
• A written agreement between the teacher
and student (also with the parent,
sometimes) that outlines what will be
learned, how, when, and for how long.
Almost always, it requires a final project.
• Since the student co-owns the learning
design, individualized learning contract
inspires motivation in the student to
work on complex ideas
• As an enrichment tool, individualized
learning contract may be structured to
enable the student to move through
content quickly or to delve deeper.
