Design
An Introduction
What is Logic Design?
- Is  the basic organization of the circuitry of a digital computer. All digital computers are based on a two-
valued logic system—1/0, on/off, yes/no (Binary)

- Computers perform calculations using components called logic gates (or logic circuits)

- Logic gates are the circuits that are designed to perform basic logical functions.

- Logic gates are the circuits that take one or more input signals and send out a single output signal.

- There are only 2 states ON/OFF

- ON state means that current is passing through the circuit and OFF state means the opposite.
The Common
Logic Gates

1. AND
2. OR Three basic Gate functions
3. NOT
4. NAND
5. NXOR
6. NOR Additional Gate functions
7. XOR
