Routine
March 17, 2022
Call to Prayer
Let us be aware of God’s loving
presence.
In the name of the Father, and of
the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.
Let us sing “Come Holy Spirit”
Morning Offering
O Heavenly Father, our Lord and God, we
thank You for the blessings You give us.
As we do our work today, guide, inspire
and protect us. Make us kind, obedient
and truthful like Your Son, Jesus.
With Mary, our Blessed Mother,
may we remain loving children to
You and to one another and be
responsible citizens of our
country. Amen.
.
Love or Charity
encompasses our love for
God and of our neighbors.
This kind of love is not
simply a passing feeling
or infatuation. It is an
unconditional kind of love
that expects nothing in
return.
It puts
. the needs of others before
our own and it manifests in
concrete actions toward God and
other people.

It is a love given freely without

looking at whether the other person
deserves it, and it gives without
expecting anything back.
Reflection
•Are you motivated to do for others as Christ
has done for you, or are you giving in order
to receive something in return?
•How do you demonstrate love to your
neighbors?
Prayer to the Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your faithful
and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send
forth Your Spirit and they shall be created. And
You shall renew the face of the earth.
O, God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did
instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant that by
the same Spirit that we may be truly wise and
ever rejoice in His consolations, through Christ
Our Lord, Amen.

Benedict…

Panatang Makabayan

Iniibig ko ang Pilipinas,

aking lupang sinilangan,
tahanan ng aking lahi;
kinukupkop ako at tinutulungang
maging malakas, masipag at marangal.
Dahil mahal ko ang Pilipinas,
diringgin ko ang payo
ng aking mga magulang,
susundin ko ang tuntunin ng paaralan,
tutuparin ko ang tungkulin
ng mamamayang makabayan:
naglilingkod, nag-aaral at nagdarasal
nang buong katapatan.
Iaalay ko ang aking buhay,
pangarap, pagsisikap
sa bansang Pilipinas.
PHILOSOPHY
Premised on Catholic principles of
education and as a response to the needs
of the Philippines today, St. Scholastica’s
Academy, Marikina is oriented towards
the integral formation of the Filipino
Christian woman who is critically aware,
capable of deciding freely
with a properly informed conscience,
responsible, and committed to help build an
interdependent global society that is free, just,
peaceful, and caring for the integrity of
creation. This, the Academy hopes to attain by
fostering a school atmosphere permeated with
Benedictine values and kingdom core values of
God centeredness, poverty, and obedience
Let’s do the exercise!
