BF: Analysis Principle

7 research parameters RBC-BF & RBC-BF*

Items Parameter Meaning
WBC series (6 parameters) Eos-BF# Eosinophils number- body fluid
Eos-BF% Eosinophils percentage- body fluid
Neu-BF# Neutrophil number- body fluid
Neu-BF% Neutrophil percentage- body fluid New
HF-BF# High fluorescent cell number- body fluid
HF-BF% High fluorescent cell percentage- body fluid
RBC series (1 parameter) RBC-BF Red Blood Cell count-body fluid

Formula
HF-BF* (high fluorescent cells)
WBC=MN+PMN
MN (mononuclear cells)
TC-BF=WBC+HF-BF
HF-BF may contain: histiocyte, PMN (polymorphonuclear cells)
epithelial cell, spleen cell,
exfoliated cell, etc. Eos-BF* (Eosinophils)
Neu-BF* (Neutrophils)

BF: Controls

• Body Fluid channel have individual controls to monitor the BF parameters

• The instruction of BF control is same with blood controls.
• 3 levels, and 3ml in each tube.

BF: Precaution

Things to consider before body fluid test

It is recommended to treat body fluid samples using EDTA

anticoagulant.

To attain accurate analysis results, make sure the body fluid sample
volume is no less than 0.2mL. If the body fluid sample needs to be
reexamined, the recommended sample volume is no less than 0.5mL.

To attain accurate analysis results, it is recommended to finish the

analysis of body fluid samples within 1 hour after collection. If the body
fluid sample can not be analyzed promptly, store it at 2-8℃, and finish
the analysis within 4 hours.

Be sure to mix well any sample that has been prepared for a while
before running.

5
BF: Precaution

• The sample should be exclude any of undissolved materials

• The sample should not be centrifuged first.
Sample • Add enough anti-coagulant if too much cells present.
quality

• The linearity range of BF mode is differed from blood

mode.
• Please manually dilute first before running the sample.

Exceed
linearity range • Make sure the proper unit is used in the report.
