RIPENING
VEGETATIVE
• Need a lot of nutrients essential to growth
• Need a lot of Nitrogen
• Nitrogen is the main element of chlorophyll and amino acids
which is the building blocks of Proteins.
• Nitrogen is vital for plants during this stage because energy
is directed into growing stems and foliage
CHANGE OVER PERIOD
• stage of plant growth that occurs after the vegetative stage
• plant begins to mature and requires a lot of Phosporus to
grow.
• Phosporus is essential for plant maturity and normal growth
• plays a big role in the process of photosynthesis, respiration,
energy storage, transfer, cell division cell enlargement etc.
REPRODUCTIVE
• stage of plant where plants are ready to produce fruits.
• plant at this stage requires potassium to produce more
flowers
• Potassium is essential for the development of healthy flowers
and fruits
