Game of Brains(Flagship event)

Description: Get ready for the battle of the minds. This event is designed to push the mental
limits of your team. Players will enjoy a series of brainteasers ,riddles ,puzzles and trick
questions that will expand their brains. Creative thinking, presence of mind, logic and memory
skills will be put to test in this event. So, try to rack up as many points as you can and show off
your brainpower.

Rules:

• It’s a team event consisting of maximum 3 members.

• No registration fee is applicable.
• The team with maximum points after the final round would be declared as the winner.
Elimination-Round:

This will consist of questions based on various puzzles, brain teasers, reasoning and coding decoding
via google form.

A team of 3 students will participate with a time limit of 30 minutes for this round.

Shortlisted teams will be informed through Mexpert's Facebook and Instagram page.

Final-round:
This round will be conducted via Google meet, where the shortlisted teams will have to join at the
given time.

The Final Round Quiz will be a relay of connecting, relating and identifying the images and clips.

• An activity with multiple stages to test the
capabilities of a team in business
environment via testing the
various crucial elements that make a strong and
functional team.

Rules:
• Maximum 4 members will be allowed.

Strategy Round :
• A demanding exercise which will require the teams to strategize multiple times and work
collectively to plan for a series of events in given time under the exercise to reach an goal.

• This round will also work as elimination round to finalise the 5 teams that will continue further

Communication and co-ordination Round :

• A time based exercise to check the communication and the coordination side of the team
testing their unity and understanding to confirm the smooth performing and functioning of the
team.

Final Round :
• A crisis handling exercise in which the team would have to tackle the crisis on the spot within
limited time to
test their pressure handling and solution finding capabilities team as a whole.

 Elimination Round:

• The participants are required to answer basic screening questions and answers round
through google forms.

Final Round:
There will be personal interview and task performance round for the shortlisted
candidates through Google Meet.
The participants will be informed through emails and whatsapp groups.

 Ad-Diction
Description
• A simple and fun activity with use of full of imagination and creativity. Participants are
required to shoot an innovative Ad for
which Ideas are open to choose from with full innovation.
Registrations will done through Google forms.

Rules:
1. A team of 3 can participate .

2. No registration fees.
Elimination Round:

A short ad video clip is to be presented by the participants.

An audio clip or radio ad describing your product.

Ads and audios will be prepared and submitted through Google forms.

Shortlisted participants will be informed via mail and a list will also be uploaded
on the MEXPERTS facebook page.

Shortlisted participants will also be added on the respective whatsapp group

where they will get further links for the rounds.

Final Round:

Questioning of shortlisted Ads will be done.

 TUG OF WORDS .

DESCRIPTION

Tug of words is a technical debate competition that involves two opposing teams, debating over a
technical topic provided on the spot. Proceeding a coin toss, the winners choose which side to debate
(PRO or CON) or which speaker position they prefer (1st or 2nd), and the other team receives the
remaining option.

RULES
● No registration fees.
● It will be a team event and each team can comprise a maximum of 2 members.
● All the team members will have to turn on their cameras.
● If any of the members will be found to be using unfair means then their team would be
disqualified. I f the total number of registered teams exceed 10, another round of the same
format will be conducted with a chosen number of teams from the first round to decide the
winner.
● The decision of the judging panel will be final and will not be subjected to any changes
FINAL ROUND
● The round will be held via Google Meet.
● The topic of debate will be decided by drawing lots.
● A coin toss will be conducted to decide the proposing and opposing teams.
● Each team will be given a maximum of 5 minutes initially to convey their
stand through a short speech.
● A team can have a maximum of 5 minutes for arguing their points.
● The winning team will be decided from all the participating teams by the panel
of judges (Votes by the audience might also be considered in deciding the
winner).
 CYBER CIPHER .

DESCRIPTION
Ever dreamt of being a spy? Interested in decoding the secret codes?
If yes, then this is the place for you! It’s time for you to flex your spying skills
because guessing right will take you to win heights.
All you gotta do is crack the correct answer and grab as many points as possible!

RULES
● No Registration fees.
● It will be a team event and each team comprises of 2 members.
ELIMINATION ROUND
● This round will be held via Google form.
● There will be around 30 questions and 30 minutes will be provided to solve
them.
● List of shortlisted participants will be uploaded on MEXPERTS Facebook
page.

FINAL ROUND
● This round will be a buzzer round and held via Google meet by sharing the
slides.
● Each slide will contain the question and the questions in this round will be
difficult compared to the first round.
 TAME THE BRUTE.
DESCRIPTION
Good programmers write software that works. Great ones write software that works
exceedingly well.
Writing a code that works is just the first step.Optimizing it accounts for rest .For a
code to stand the test of time it must be efficient and readable. So if you think you
have got what it takes to be a great programmer then join us in the battleground and
prove your worth.

RULES
● No registration fees.
● Participation will be done in the team of 3
Note: If you register with less members then at the time of contest, you will be
paired with other members to complete the team.
ELIMINATION ROUND
● This round will consist of mixed type of questions based on Data Structures,
Algorithms and General awareness of the field and its fundamentals.
● There will be around 25 questions with a 20 minutes time limit.
● For every correct answer 4 points will be awarded and for the wrong ones -1 point.
No point will be awarded/deducted for not attempting.
● Shortlisted participants will be informed via mail and a list will also be uploaded on
the MEXPERTS Facebook and Instagram page.

FINAL ROUND
● Each team will be given a code snippet which they need to optimize in 15 mins.
● The code will be a brute force solution. The teams would be required to identify the
logic and hence improve the code performance in terms of time and space
complexity. Code quality should be maintained.
● The team whose code is the most efficient and readable will be the winner.
