Analogy have brought you the opportunity of a 2-
day competition where you will be ideating and
innovating using your Solidworks and Ansys skills
to solve real world industry-level problems.

TIMELINE
DAY 1
THURS
24th FEB 22
STAGE- 1
Time: The total time for stage 1 is 12 hours, the time for
modelling your chosen idea for the participants is
8 hours, time for our evaluation is 4 hours.
Points: The total number of points stage1 contains is
20 points.
Evaluation criteria:
5pts for dimensional accuracy
3pts for speed (who did in less time)
6pts for colour coordination and renders
4pts for detailing.
2pts for extra efforts.
Task Pattern:
The task has 6 idea choices.
Participants have the freedom to choose their own ideas
Participants have to make a model of that idea in
Solidworks
Participants have to submit the file in SLDPRT/SLDASM
format with a blueprint of their dimensions in PDF format.

DAY 2 FRI
25th FEB 22
STAGE- 2
Time: The total time for stage 2 is 36 hours. The time for
completing the problem statement for the participants is
24 hours. Time for our evaluation is 12 hours.
Points: The total number of points stage1 contains is 50pts
Evaluation criteria:
10pts for dimensional accuracy
5pts for speed (who did in less time),
5pts for color coordination, renders and creativity
10pts for analysis accuracy
6pts for detailing
10pts for simulation
4pts for extra efforts.
Task Pattern:
Participants have to make a model and must analyze
and simulate it in Solidworks, Ansys and MATLAB,
Participants must submit the solution file in a ZIP file
format with their model in SLDPRT and SLDASM format
Participants must attach it along with a blueprint of
their model dimensions and Ansys and MATLAB format
files.

PREPARATION GUIDELINES
All students should present with a valid identity
card of their respective educational institutes
Each team has to prepare 3D Model for the given
component
Evaluation is based on completion of job with all
details at the earliest time
The Judges will reject incomplete, inconsistent or
improper drawings. Furthermore, the Judges will
not return submitted drawings
The decision of the judges shall be final and binding
All entrants are regarded as having a full
understanding of the regulations for the
competition and as being willing to comply with
every rule
Certificate of Excellence will be given to winners.
