TITLE: Put Me in Place
GRADE LEVEL: Grade 1
SUBJECT: Mathematics
TOPIC: Ordinal Numbers
MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCE/S: Visual-Spacial,
Linguistic-Verbal Intelligence and Logical-
Mathematical Intelligence
OBJECTIVES

At the end of this activity 30-40 minutes, the pupils must have:

1.Identify ordinal numbers: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, up to 10th object in a

given set from a given point of reference.
2. Students will cooperate actively in answering the activity.
3. Read and write the ordinal numbers:1st,2nd,3rd, up to 10th
object in a given set from a given point of reference.
MATERIALS & DESCRIPTION

MATERIALS:
 Printed Material
 Pencil
 Eraser

DESCRIPTION:
In this activity, the pupils will identify, read, and write ordinal numbers: 1st,
2nd, 3rd, and up to the 10th object in a given set from a given point of reference.
The students will be using their visual-spatial intelligence, linguistic-verbal
intelligence, and logical-mathematical intelligence.
PROCESS

1. Look at the different objects in a given set.

2. Identify the objects given in every set.
3. Read the position of the objects from a given point of reference.
4. Write the correct position of the objects in a given number.
RUBRICS
Make this rubric below as your reference so that you would know how your work will be graded once you’re
done. Keep in mind that:
 The possible highest score is 10 points.
 Students who did not submit their works is automatically zero points.
 In this activity, children will identify, read, and write ordinal numbers. They will
use their visual spatial intelligence to help them see clearly the shapes and
angles of the objects, which allows children to see how something is supposed to
look.

 Children will use their linguistic-verbal intelligence to remember the object and
word easily.

 Children will use their logical and mathematical intelligence, which allows
children to see relationships between things that are not letters of the alphabet
such as shapes, objects, and symbols, in order to solve problems.
 Children will have the opportunity to learn new things and to execute more things
within their range of knowledge and to exercise their critical thinking to solve
mathematical and non-mathematical problems and logics.

 The main goal of our topic is to make the child to be more critical thinker and to
understand the number ordinance from 1st to 10th arrangement by giving them
the activity that they needed to organize the numbers in order.
Math is a part of children’s everyday lives.
