This document discusses measures of central tendency, which are values that are central to a data set like the mean, median, and mode. It defines each measure: the mean is the average found by adding all values and dividing by the total count, the median is the middle value of a data set organized from lowest to highest, and the mode is the most frequently occurring value. Formulas are provided for calculating the mean, median, and mode from both raw and grouped data sets.

MEASURES OF CENTRAL TENDENCY OR MEASURES OF AVERAGE
A central Tendency or Measure of Central Tendency is a central or
typical value for a probability distribution. It may also called a center or location of the distribution. The term central tendency refers to the “middle” value or perhaps a typical value of the data, and is measured using the mean, median, mode. MEAN
MEAN IS THE AVERAGE OF THE NUMBERS.
MOST COMMONLY USED MEASURE EASY TO CALCULATE ADD UP ALL THE NUMBERS AND DIVIDE BY HOW MANY . FORMULA: MEDIAN MODE = the most frequently repeated number.
