 The Big Idea!

 The goal was to create a beautiful plant pot with clay.

 For this we would have to be extremely patient
 We would have to be as creative as possible but also have to keep our designs
simple so we could achieve our goal
 Tools

 For this task I used:

o Spoon
o Knife
o Sponge
o Cloth
o Toothpicks
 The Designs

 The first thing I did was draw 4 desighns for my flowerpot

 these were my 4 designs

 And this is the desighn I ended up picking

 Let’s Get Started!

 First I used a technique called weding, this helped me get a uniform texture
in the clay.
 Next I then I started to make the base of my mushroom.


 I mad sure to:

• - use a sponge to smooth out my clay
- make holes in the base so it doesn’t
e explode in the kiln
 Part 2

 Next I started to build the top of my mushroom

At this point my clay was very hard plastic and required LOTS of water and
kneading.
once this was done I made the head smooth and poked holes in it

Final product !!!

 Finnaly I carved some designs onto my pot and I also decides to smooth out
the hole on the top
 And after I carved in my name it was ready to dry
