Similarities and differences
Purposive communication, social communication, and technical
communication are all types of communication, they are all used to
communicate a message, and they can be used to achieve a variety of
purposes.

Purposive communication is used to achieve a specific goal. Social


communication is used to build relationships. Technical communication
is used to convey information.

Written Communication
Writing an essay to inform or persuade entails the following:

convey.

2. Concrete-Particular (Objective Factual)- writer’s anchors his


judgment and perceptions on relevant and factual data.

3. Abstract-universal- writer relies on better abstractions than


on personal experiences or facts.
