Computerized Library

System
Objectives of the study
Specific Objective
 To design a system that will lessen the time and effort of the student in their
transaction;

 To quickly search the book needed by the student of the library;

 To identify the merits and demerits of using computerized library system.

General Objective

The objective of the study was to develop a computerized library system that
will store the student’s records such as student’s basic information, books record,
list of borrowers, returned books, borrowed books, and prescriptions of the
librarian.
Scope and Limitation

This study was about the Computerized Library System for the Capiz State University
Mambusao Satellite College. In terms of adding, modifying, searching, removing, and
printing records, the system's implementation will diminish user’s time and effort. The
system can also help in reducing the expenses of the library such as papers, folders,
pens and other materials needed in their current system. The student’s personal
information/data may be stored upon the request of the authorized librarian. The
assigned librarians are the only one who can share any of the records/data of the
students which enables the system to use LAN-based. The system is not capable of
sharing its data from other databases. The system will be developed using the
Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0.
The Development of Grading
Management System
Objectives of the study

General Objective

The study's goal is to find a solution to students’ grade

transparency problems and to make them more aware of their
academic performance.
Specific Objectives

Intended to make grading inquiries more efficient and less time consuming.

To give solution to the grade transparency problem of students and make them
aware of their academic performances.

Allow professors to enter preliminary, midterm, and final scores into a grading
management system.
Scope and Limitations of the study
In developing the software, the proponents of this study wish to reduce the workload
of teachers by eliminating the need for manual computation and recording of each
grade. It can access the student’s records from the previous year up to the present. It
has the ability to create different criteria of the Grading System. The system can
generate a hard copy of the student’s final grades. The system has warning
information if the students had succeeding absences. However there are some
limitations of the proposed study:
The system cannot print the student’s attendance. The student’s personal information
like age, address, or birth date is not included in the proposed study.
The system is focused only to the student’s attendance and grades

Online Voting System
Objectives of the study

General Objective
This study proposes a secure, verifiable online voting
system that allows voters to vote anonymously in the
public system to take advantage of early voting, and it
will be especially valuable in pandemics like as Covid-19.
Specific Objectives

To create an interactive online voting system that allows users to utilize their
mobile devices to vote.

To create a secure authentication facilities to check validate users logging into
the voting system.

To build an online system that would enable voters to cast their votes on chosen
candidates.

Scope and Limitations of the study
In this study, its purpose is to create a model of web based online voting system.
This study assumes that voter registration was completely successful, and the
students (voters) have login credentials to login into the web based online voting
system and cast a vote. The voters can cast votes via Internet enable mobile phone
that can access a browser. The system allow voters to vote anonymously while a
group of authorized individuals collect votes and output final results considering
that it is a stand-alone application, one or more users may use it at the same time,
and the system is only available during election season.
