 Boom up operation

Boom up, two spools are switched.

Two pumps oil goes to boom cylinder by passed
boom 1 and boom 2 spool.

8
KVMG 270 Control valve

 Boom down operation – Regeneration function

One spool is switched.

High pressure oil of cylinder head chamber goes
to cylinder rod chamber through check valve in
boom spool
- Return oil line from cylinder is restricted by
orifice
Center bypass line is not closed completely for
decrease pump oil flow. 9
KVMG 270 Control valve

 Boom down operation – Jack up machine.

Release boom holding valve by boom down

pilot signal and regeneration function in not
occurred.

10
KVMG 270 Control valve

 Arm crowd operation – Digging

Cylinder head side should be high pressure

Two spools are swtiched

Release arm holding valve by arm crowd pilot s
ignal and return oil pass is open by system pres
sure (easy rod chamber oil to return to tank)

11
KVMG 270 Control valve

 Arm crowd operation – Arm regeneration

In case cylinder rod camber is high pressure.

High pressure oil of cylinder rod chamber goes to
cylinder head chamber through arm spool check
valve (return oil line is restricted by arm
regeneration valve )
12
KVMG 270 Control valve

 Bucket crowd operation

One spool is switched

13
KVMG 270 Control valve

 Holding valve operation – Cylinder locking ( pc1 pressure is 0 bar)

System ( Cylinder ) pressure is reached behind

holding valve. It makes valve lock

14
KVMG 270 Control valve

 Holding valve operation – Cylinder released ( pc1 pressure is on pilot pressure)

The behind pressure of holing valve is

connected tank.
High system( cylinder ) pressure is push up the
poppet.

15
KVMG 270 Control valve

 Boom priority valve operation

No pilot pressure on pi port, High pilot pressure on pi port,

lots flow oil can go to spool Low flow oil can go to spool

16
KVMG 270 Control valve

 Swing priority valve operation (Digging mode)

No pilot pressure on pc3 port, lots flow oil goes to

arm 1 spool through parallel line. it means pump
oil should be divided arm and swing system.

17
KVMG 270 Control valve

 Swing priority valve operation (Trenching mode)

High pilot pressure on pc3 port, small flow oil

goes to arm 1 spool through parallel line. it
means lots pump flow oil can go to swing system

18
KVMG 270 Control valve

 Main relief valve (2 Stage pressure set)

1 2

Normal pressure 330 bar

 How to adjust main relief pressure?

 What is boost pressure adjustment screw?

Boost pressure 350 bar

19
KVMG 270 Control valve

 Foot relief (nega- con) valve

The foot relief valve signal goes to each pump

regulator for adjusting oil flow (for flow control).
