Air Pressure Gauges

An air pressure gauge for each hydraulic system A and B

reservoir gives an indication of the air pressure in
the reservoirs.

The gauges are between each reservoir depressurization

valve and its related reservoir.

Pressure Relief Valves

A pressure relief valve for each main reservoir opens

when the air pressure in the reservoir increases to 60-
65 psi to protect the reservoir.

The relief valves are near the top of each hydraulic

system A and system B reservoir.

Training Information Point

If you remove pressure from the system B reservoir, you

also remove pressure from the standby system reservoir.

Operation

When you pull the engine fire warning switch, the EDP
supply shutoff valve moves to the closed position. This
stops the supply of hydraulic fluid to the EDP.
