Pear deck

What is Pear deck?  - Pear deck is an educational tech
company for kindergarten through
12th grade and teachers as well.  
- Pear deck allows teachers to see
which students are on task, which ones
may need a little help in the content
area, and which students are engaged
and participating. 
- It is a Google Slides add on that
allows any teacher anywhere to make
their slideshow hands-on and more
entertaining.

more understanding and more 
- Teachers are allowed to create your
own custom questions or activities,
similar to Kahoot
- Teachers can also add audio add
ons, to break down directions or
examples

deck 

- When starting a lesson using pear deck, students


can join using any device with a web browser, this
includes laptops, phones and iPads. As the teacher
goes through the lesson their students are prompted
to answer questions and watch videos as well as
completing assignments. The teacher is then able to
see responses as they are typed, drawn etc. And
are able to end the presentation whenever it is
necessary. 
Pear deck and the Teacher - Pear deck has a teacher dashboard
Dashboard  that allows teachers to see an updated
version minute to minute of how each
student in their classroom interacts 
with the lesson that they are teaching. 
Inviting Teachers to Pear - Educators are able to share their
platforms with other teachers in their
deck  community. These teachers real-time
view of individual student work in
order to get feedback for their own
classrooms.
